China’s power installed capacity has maintained a steady growth trend,but the growth of power demand has slowed down significantly.At the same time,the reform of the power system has brought severe challenges to power generation companies,and competition in the power market has become increasingly fierce.How to reduce project investment,optimize schedule management,and strengthen safety management are issues that power generation companies need to consider and solve.With the development of the times,traditional power plant construction methods can no longer meet the needs of power companies for project schedule,cost and safety management.PDMS software is the mainstream software for 3D modeling in the power industry.It is characterized by full-scale models,data-centric,and has a strong advantage in pipeline design,which meets the needs of professional detailed design of power complex pipelines and cable trays,and eliminates information islands.The application of BIM can be based on visual design,which is more realistic and intuitive in the expression of design intent,realize multidisciplinary collaboration and can automatically generate engineering atlas,reports,plans and other documents.You can also perform a collision check to check for design errors.The combination of the two can full scale modeling,pre-collision inspection and visual management,which can reduce construction costs,save construction time,and improve the quality of safety management.This paper takes the digital project of a power plant as the research object,analyzes the basic situation of a project and puts forward the necessity of building a digital power plant,puts forward the application of three-dimensional technology in a power plant,including the application in the design stage,capital construction period and operation period,and sums up the application conditions of BIM Technology from the aspects of overall planning,high capital requirements and management reform.According to the typical case of the power plant,found that the three sub objectives can bring certain benefits.Firstly,the construction period can be shortened by 60 days.Secondly,based on the target cost management method,the labor cost can be reduced by 750800 yuan,and the material cost can be saved by 1.373 million yuan.Through the detection of 198 potential collisions,the direct economic loss can be reduced by 6.93 million yuan,totally saving 9.0538 million yuan,accounting for 2.3%of the total cost of construction and installation of the project.Finally,the application of the three-dimensional model can realize visual monitoring,carry out simulation training,build digital file management system and intelligent security management system,and further improve the level of security management.At present,the application of BIM-PDMS technology in power plant construction management is not mature enough,but digital power plant construction has become the development direction of the industry.I believe that with the advancement of corresponding technology and management methods in the future,we can achieve the greatest benefit of BIM technology in power plants,to develop a road of intelligent engineering construction with Chinese characteristics.
