| With the continuous advancement of China’s urbanization process,the scope of urban roads continues to expand,and roads around cities are facing the need to transform from highway functions to municipal road functions.The urbanization of highways is imperative,but there is no specific Standards guide the implementation of the renovation project,which is an urgent problem that needs to be solved in the highway municipalization renovation project.This article first clarifies the meaning of the road municipalization renovation project.Through the analysis of the vehicle model distribution,traffic demand and future trends of the renovation project,the traditional traffic volume forecasting method is improved based on the urbanization rate and iterative constraints,and then determined basic requirements for geometric design such as road classification and design speed.Then,filter the horizontal and vertical indicators that have conflicting values between highways and urban roads in the line code,and based on the particularity of the renovation project and the calculation parameters or method corrections,the recommended values of the horizontal and vertical conflict indicators for the road municipalization renovation project are obtained.Aiming at the blank of the sight distance inspection method in the specification,this paper relies on the calculation of the actual design parameters of the road and the combined calculation of the vertical section and proposes a three-dimensional dynamic sight distance calculation method for the roadside obscured turning section.Then,combined with the cross-sectional differences between highways and urban roads and the design principles of renovation projects,the standard cross-sectional layout diagrams suitable for different road classes are drawn according to the road function classification.Through vehicle width investigation and Polyakov model correction,a suggested value for the width of a motor vehicle lane is calculated for different vehicle types and lane position vehicles,and the safety of reducing lane width is studied through the Crash Modification Factors.Finally,this paper verifies the above-mentioned research with examples through the expansion and reconstruction project of Huadu Avenue in Guangzhou.The results show that all research results can be applied to actual projects.This paper studies the functional positioning and geometric design of the road municipalization transformation,and validates it in combination with the actual project.It can provide direct and effective transformation ideas and decision-making basis for the road municipalization transformation,so as to make the municipal transformation design reaches the target requirements. |
