With the development of the process of ocean exploration,the research on underwater vehicle system is closely related to the development of the field of underwater operations.Therefore,the understanding and research on underwater vehicle system is an indispensable key step for ocean exploration,which has great significance.The navigation characteristics of underwater vehicle system is an important part of the design and development process of underwater vehicle system,which directly affects the actual working state.It is necessary to put forward in accordance with the engineering practice for the research of navigation characteristics of underwater vehicle system.In order to study the actual navigation characteristics of the underwater vehicle system from the engineering practice,this paper based on the computational fluid dynamics(CFD)theory,uses the modeling method of the overall structure of the underwater vehicle system,and adopts the hybrid grid technology combining overlapping grid and sliding grid.Based on existing research,this paper builds a numerical calculation model which can be directly used to simulate different scenarios of navigation characteristics of underwater vehicle system and conform to the actual engineering environment,and the results can be used as data support in the design process of underwater vehicle system.The work completed in this paper is as follows :(1)Based on the conclusions obtained in various scenarios,a numerical calculation model with good applicability is established;(2)Based on the data obtained from the model,the hydrodynamic characteristics of the ducted propeller in the underwater vehiclesystem as the propulsion system are analyzed,as the basis of propulsion system selection.(3)The dynamic equilibrium equations of the whole navigation state of the underwater vehicle system are established;(4)The navigation characteristics and factors of underwater vehicle system in the process of spatial six-degreeof-freedom straight navigation and spatial six-degree-of-freedom rotary movement are analyzed.The results show that the model can simulate the navigation characteristics of the underwater vehicle system completely and comprehensively.The conclusions obtained from the final analysis are in line with the actual needs of the project,which can increase the mastery of the navigation characteristics of the underwater vehiclesystem,and provide effective reference in the design stage of the underwater vehicle system,which is conducive to the design of the underwater vehicle system scheme with more reasonable structure and better handling performance.
