Using household air purifier is one of the effective measures to deal with indoor air pollution.Existing household air purifiers mainly use activated carbon filter and HEPA filter to remove indoor air pollutants.Activated carbon filter and HEPA filter have some defects in the performance of air purification,such as the upper limit of adsorption capacity and the risk of secondary pollution.The new air purification technology is the patented technology of Guangdong Yuenengjing Environmental Protection Technology Co.,Ltd.The components of the new air purification technology mainly include photocatalyst and UVALED array lamp source.The new air purification technology is mainly based on the basic principle of photocatalytic reaction,which has the advantages of high efficiency,high reliability,safety,clean and complete removal in the treatment of chemical pollutants and microbial pollution.Research purpose: The research purpose of this paper is to apply the new air purification technology to the product design of household air purifier,and make the product can meet the use needs of specific target users.The research contents and results mainly include:(1)Research on new air purification technology;It mainly includes the characteristics of new technology,the feasibility of introducing new technology into the design of household air purifier,and the impact on the product design and product realization of air purifier.(2)Theoretical research on product design;Based on the research of product system design theory and user-centered design principle,this paper proposes a design method based on product system design theory optimization.Firstly,the selection of product system elements is determined and the system structure is clarified.After the analysis of product system elements;Then through the user research clear design objectives;Finally,guide the product design practice.(3)Analysis of household air purifier product system elements;It mainly includes four aspects: product function,product structure,product appearance and product human-computer interaction(4)Research on target users;Through user questionnaire survey,target user positioning,user interview methods to clarify user needs,and take user needs as the goal of product design.(5)In the specific design practice,first of all,based on the analysis of the characteristics of the components of the new air purification technology,the structure of the air duct suitable for the application of the new air purification technology is designed.Then with the help of3 D printing technology,necessary feasibility tests are carried out on the structural model of the air duct to ensure that the application of the technology has a good effect.Then comprehensively consider the product appearance,product function,product structure,product human-computer interaction elements,put forward a home air purifier application of new air purification technology design scheme,and make a product prototype.Finally,the product prototype was used to test the final effect of removing pollutants,and the rationality of the overall design scheme was verified.
