| As the carrier of human material civilization and spiritual civilization,buildings not only record the real historical information,but also contain profound philosophical and aesthetic connotations.However,with the changes of the times,buildings will inevitably be aging and even die.The protection,renewal,and renovation of historic building have long been the focus of architects,meanwhile they have become an issue of common concern because of their close relation with the production and life of the general public.In recent years,with the rapid development of our country’s economy and the booming exhibition,the number of museums is in high growth.Museums are no longer limited to traditional functions and models,but are more integrated with tourism and cultural and creative industries,which motivates the architects not only pay attention to the functional flow and formal beauty of museum space,but also on more spiritual content such as the emotion of the space and the cultural heritage.The attributes and social functions of the museum determine that this type of buildings is closely related to regional characteristics and historical context.While historic building are derived from historyand rooted in the place,and there is an inseparable connection between the two.In this context of social development,this thesis is to do the research on the museum renovation from historic building and the image design of their exhibitspace from the perspective of architecture combined with image philosophy and the method of architectural phenomenology.This thesis is based on a large amount of literature study and field investigation.First,it analyzes and summarizes the motivations,types and trends of the cases of the museum renovation from historic building home and abroad,and uses architectural phenomenology to study the image design of exhibit space in this type of projects.Second,It probes into the exhibit space image of the museum which are renovated from historic building through the analysis of the original image source,the spatial image elements,and the image construction level.Then,based on the theoretical support and case analysis in the early stage,corresponding strategies are proposed for the image design of this type of exhibit space.Finally,taking the exhibit design practice of Harbin Architectural Art Museum as an example,the thesis discusses the scientificity and feasibility of the strategies proposed above. |
