Research On Space Design Of Museum Building Based On Reconstruction Of Historical Industrial Buildings

With the development of cities and the improvement of citizens’ cultural needs,a large number of historical industrial buildings are facing relocation and abandonment.However,these buildings carry human industrial civilization and a large amount of historical culture.How to give full play to the residual value of buildings and how to preserve and continue the historical and cultural values carried in these buildings are worthy of consideration.Renovation and reuse of historical industrial buildings are popular all over the world.After renovation,the types of historical industrial buildings include headquarters office,residential apartments,art and culture exhibition hall,creative industrial park,etc.However,because of its special function and space,museums are in good agreement with the space and culture of historical industrial buildings.This topic is mainly discussed from the following aspects: First,the research on the value of transforming historical industrial buildings into museums;The second is how to transform the historical industrial buildings to meet the functional requirements of the museum.The third is how to protect the historical industrial buildings themselves and the historical and cultural values they contain during the transformation process.First of all,it studies the relevant theories of historical industrial buildings renovation at home and abroad,analyzes the different spatial characteristics and relationships between historical industrial buildings and museums,selects typical museum cases of different types of historical industrial buildings renovation in the world,analyzes and summarizes their renovation methods,and summarizes the problems existing in current practice.Then the space and function of the subway museum are studied,and the adaptability and matching of the two building spaces are analyzed,and the practical problems in the renovation process are put forward.From the perspective of function replacement,space remodeling and external environment reconstruction,systematic research is carried out to find solutions and provide basis for the reuse strategy of subsequent historical industrial building reconstruction.Finally,the research results are applied to the reconstruction design of Wuhan subway museum.From the perspective of architectural protection and context inheritance,combined with the function and space requirements of subway museum,reasonable suggestions for demolition and retention are put forward,and detailed analysis is made on the structural transformation,space transformation and building facade transformation of the building.A set of universal methods for the reconstruction and reuse of historical industrial buildings are summarized to provide theoretical basis and practical reference for the future development of historical architectural heritage and related scientific research.
