Research On Architectural Planning Of Arctic Scientific Research Station Based On Environmental Psychology

In recent years,with the warming of the arctic climate,the melting trend of the Arctic Ocean ice surface is speeding up year by year.The opening of the arctic waterway has greatly promoted the development of Arctic scientific research,and also changed the global international geo economic and political pattern.By increasing the intensity of arctic scientific research,accelerating the economic construction of the Arctic,and strengthening international cooperation in the Arctic,countries have actively invested in the infrastructure construction of the arctic scientific research station,striving for a place and a voice in the Arctic.Since the first official arctic scientific expedition was carried out in 1999,China has begun and strengthened its investment in the construction of the arctic scientific research station.The Arctic Svalbard Islands is the only arctic area that supports the free access of non arctic countries.The Ny-?lesund scientific research town is the only international polar scientific research support platform to accept the construction of stations and scientific research in many countries in the world,and the Chinese Yellow River Station was built here.There are some contradictions between the growing scale of the arctic scientific research station and the lagging human settlements of the arctic scientific research station,and the extremely bad arctic environment also has a certain impact on the behavior and psychology of the members of the arctic scientific research station.Taking this as a starting point,this study from the perspective of environmental psychology,emphasizes the concept of people-oriented architectural planning,scientifically and reasonably selects the arctic scientific research station in Ny-?lesund as the research object,carries out architectural planning research on the arctic scientific research station,actively responds to the National Arctic Policy,and fills in the blank of architectural planning research in the arctic scientific research stations in China.This paper studies from three aspects.The first is the basic theory construction of architectural planning of arctic scientific research station based on environmental psychology.This paper expounds the connotation and characteristics of architectural planning of Arctic scientific research station from the perspective of environmental psychology and the basic principles to follow are the principles of environmental adaptation,psychological mitigation and behavior support.The core of the architectural planning of the arctic scientific research station is made clear: the planning and design process with the human settlements as the core,the investigation of the planning conditions mainly based on users,and the environmental simulation experiment supplemented by information feedback.Finally,the planning procedures and methods based on the information collection stage,specific planning stage and achievement expression stage are described.The second is the investigation and analysis of the architectural planning of the arctic scientific research station based on environmental psychology.In the information collection stage,through the online data collection of the arctic scientific research station,this paper analyzes the cases of the arctic scientific research station,and reasonably divides the architectural type and scale of the arctic scientific research station.On the premise of meeting the function of human settlement environment,the restriction of multinational policies and the development of master plan,the architectural information of external condition investigation is refined;on the basis of subjective conditions such as user’s behavior characteristics,psychological state 、 functional needs and spatial tendenc 、 the architectural information of internal condition investigation is analyzed;as a supplement to the internal condition investigation,VR virtual experiment feedback was carried out.Finally,it is the achievement and expression of architectural planning of arctic scientific research station based on environmental psychology.On the basis of the information collection stage,this stage mainly adopts the juxtaposition mode,combining with the principles of environmental adaptation、psychological relief and behavior support,discusses the functional scale planning 、 space environment planning and material technology planning of the arctic scientific research station.In the stage of achievement expression,the steps and contents of the design specification for the arctic scientific research station are defined,so as to complete the whole process of architectural planning.The introduction of the theoretical basis of environmental psychology makes the architectural planning research of the arctic scientific research station fit and solve the practical problems in the Arctic,which is different from the general architectural planning research.This study adopted the methods of literature research 、 case analysis 、 expert questionnaire survey and VR immersion virtual experiment.From the perspective of environmental psychology,this paper discusses the specific contents and methods of architectural planning for the arctic scientific research station,which provides theoretical guidance for the future development and construction of the arctic scientific research stations.
