With the improvement of people’s living standard, in order to satisfy everyone growingon the living, fitness, leisure and interpersonal needs, people gradually produced morerequirements for residential environment.In our country, emerge in an endless stream of thetheory and practice of environmental design of residential district, but from the aspect ofhuman behavior to discuss theories of environmental design of residential district is not verymuch.This article mainly from the theory of environment psychology, the relationshipbetween psychological and behavior focuses on people and residential environment, throughthe research and summarize, finally meet the residents interpersonal residential areaenvironment, promote physical and mental health of residents.This paper is divided into five sections.Among them, the first chapter mainly expoundssome problems in subject, such as the research background, purpose, meaning, domestic andforeign research status and development trend, the research contents and methods as well asthe definition of related concepts; chapter second mainly expounds the related theories ofenvironmental psychology and environmental design of residential district, so that we have aa clear understanding of the theoretical basis; the third chapter mainly expounds therelationship between residential environment and living behavior; the fourth chapterdiscusses in detail, through the first three chapters of foreshadowing, this chapter focuses onthe detailed discussion on the design of residential environment from the environmentalpsychology, this research direction; analysis of actual case the residential environment ismainly combined with the fifth chapter, the combination of theory and practice.Finally, theconclusion part of the paper is summarized and the future residential developmentsuggestions. In the residential area environment, if the environment is not attractive, not to be able tomake residents feel the psychological health of space, lack of communication, sports, leisureactivities of residents within the District, the environment is the lack of certain popularity, sowhether residential construction shape changes how rich, how bright colors, materials soprecious, so we are also very difficult to say this is a good living environment.In this paper,by studying the theory of environmental psychology, through the analysis, we establish aharmonious living environment, to now actively advocated "people-oriented" residential areaenvironment design also has a good reference.
