| With the development of intelligent pavement technology, asphalt pavement with heating cable has been widely used in road ice and snow melting because of its advantages of clean energy and good heating effect, and interlayer instability is the most typical type of damage.Due to the characteristics of temperature heating, the influence of temperature on interlayer stability directly affects its service life.In this paper, the interlayer temperature stability of asphalt pavement with heating cable is studied(1)Based on the construction experience of building an asphalt road in Liaoning Province,China,a composite structure of asphalt pavement with heating cable(30cm× 30 cm × 10cm)is designed. The structure is mainly composed of three parts: the upper layer of asphalt, the lower layer of asphalt and the heating cable laid between layers.According to AC-13 asphalt mixture and four kinds of heating cables, four kinds of heating cables are formed Cable asphalt pavement structure(AMS).(2)Through a series of direct shear tests of AMS under transient temperature, the change of stress displacement curve under temperature is studied, and the influence of interlayer temperature, ambient temperature and cable type(interlayer area ratio)on shear strength is analyzed.(3)Based on the basic damage theory of thermal mechanical coupling, the 3D finite element geometric model of AMS is established, and the interlayer cohesion parameters are determined based on the shear test data of asphalt pavement with heating cable. At the same time, the simulation parameters and thermal parameters of asphalt mixture are obtained according to the relevant specifications and tests, and the numerical simulation is carried out after reasonable assumptions are made according to the actual test environment and working conditions Numerical simulation test.(4)According to the actual working conditions,a series of temperature rise tests are carried out,and the temperature rise laws of interlayer and upper surface of asphalt pavement with heating cable are obtained. At the same time,in order to verify the reliability of the heat transfer model, the experimental results and the model calculation results were compared.(5)In the aspect of damage calculation of thermal mechanical coupling model, the shear strength obtained by simulation and experiment is compared to verify the correctness of thermal mechanical coupling damage model and further analyze the influence of temperature on interlayer temperature stability. The results show that the thermal mechanical coupling damage finite element model can well describe the damage of temperature stability of asphalt pavement with heating cable. In the aspect of interlaminar temperature stability, the shear strength of four kinds of asphalt mixture coupling cable specimens is consistent with the change of temperature. With the decrease of ambient temperature, the shear strength decreases, and with the increase of interlaminar temperature, the shear strength also decreases.According to the simulation results and test results, the failure of interlayer interface first occurs on the interface 3.Therefore,to improve the temperature stability of interlayer, the bonding strength of interface 3 should be strengthened first. |
