In China's pavement structure,semi-rigid base asphalt pavement is widely used, but at the same time, due to the weak inter-layer adhesion between the base layer and the surface layer, road surface slipping disease often occurs, which seriously affects the normal use of the road.Based on the conventional interlayer treatment method, this paper proposes the treatment of pits and conducts laboratory experiments to provide support for the engineering application of pit treatment. The main contents are:In this paper, the bonding mechanism between pavement layers is firstly described, and the factors affecting the interfacial strength are analyzed in depth. The conventional inter-layer treatment method is classified.Based on this, the inter-layer pit treatment is proposed, and the pits are uniformly distributed through the surface of the base layer.Forming a bismuth-like structure with the surface layer, improving the contact structure between the layers, enhancing the bond strength between the layers, and improving the anti-sliding ability of the road surface. Then, the semi-rigid base asphalt surface layer composite test piece was used as the test object, and the key parameters of the pit treatment, the multi-layer treatment methods including the pit treatment, the comparative study at different temperatures, and the shear resistance were carried out.The test results were analyzed in terms of strength, tensile strength, and post-destruction interface. The test results show that at 20 °C,compared with the surface of the base layer, the interlaminar shear strength of 9 ?20mm pits on the surface of the base layer is increased by 27.95%,and the pull strength is increased by 57.51%.Within a certain range,Increasing the diameter of the pit in the pit treatment can improve the bonding effect between the layers. When the temperature is raised from 0 °C to 40 °C,the shear strength between layers is reduced by 85.15%~93.18%,the tensile strength between layers is reduced by 76.06%~84.39%;at 40 °C,the surface of the base layer is evenly distributed. The inter-layer shear strength of the ?20mm pit method is 20.38% higher than that of the base layer surface, and the interlayer tensile strength is 24.75% higher than that of the base layer. The surface of the base layer is uniformly pitted. The formation of the ruthenium-like structure can weaken the negative effect of high temperature on the adhesion between layers;in the temperature range of 0 °C-40 °C,the interlayer adhesion effect of 9 ?20mm pits + sprinkle through layer oil on the surface of the base layer It has always been superior to the other three interlaminar treatment methods in the trial.
