The Research Of Post Occupancy Evaluation On Outdoor Activity Space In Children’s Hospital

With the implementation of the "Healthy China" strategy,the construction of children’s medical institutions is at an important stage of development.The society pays more and more attention to the physical and mental health of children,and has higher standards and requirements for the outdoor activity space construction of children medical institutions.It is the direction of development to create a more caring and humanized environment.Through in-depth research on the use of outdoor space in children’s medical institutions,obtaining data on the behavior and needs of space users,and discussing how to improve the quality of the space environment is an urgent problem to be solved in the research of outdoor space in children’s medical institutions..This research is to explore the application of post-use evaluation methods of outdoor activity spaces in children’s medical institutions and the construction of evaluation models,carry out qualitative and quantitative evaluations on the spot,and propose related optimization strategies.The specific content is as follows:First of all,through the carding of the previous relevant research,summarize the research results of scholars.Combined with the previous research,the evaluation model of children’s medical institutions outdoor activity space was constructed.In the aspect of objective use presentation,the data of user behavior characteristics and space environment status were obtained through observation records and questionnaire interviews,and qualitative evaluation was carried out.In terms of subjective use evaluation,AHP is used to build the evaluation model.The model includes 4 indexes in the criterion layer and 23 indexes in the factor layer,and determines the weight value of the indexes.Finally,the quantitative evaluation of user satisfaction is obtained through the statistical analysis of the data.Secondly,the evaluation model is used in the actual case.Based on the field investigation of Guangzhou Women and Children Medical Care Center and the Women and Children’s Hospital of Guangdong Province,the evaluation data were analyzed.To explore the relationship between user satisfaction and the importance of evaluation index under different hospital environment conditions,IPA analysis was used to summarize user characteristics and spatial characteristics.Studies have found that the main users of the activity space are children aged 3 to 6 and parents aged 31 to 35.The users often sit and rest or engage in parent-child interactions in the space.The users of the two hospitals are highly satisfied with the current outdoor activity space.According to IPA analysis,the two indicators of low satisfaction,high importance and urgent need for improvement are concentrated in the rest space,parent-child space,rest facilities and activity facilities.Finally,based on the evaluation results,summarize the spatial characteristics,user characteristics,and behavioral activity characteristics,and discuss the optimization of outdoor activity space in children’s medical institutions from four levels:pleasant overall perception,emotional function layout,detailed site facilities,and practical safety guarantees.Promotion strategy.This research hopes to supplement and deepen the research content of the external space of children’s medical institutions,and inspire the direction of medical environment design in the context of modern landscape architecture.
