| The development of streets under the background of the stock era and new urbanization is facing a renewal trend. From the past car behavior to the slow priority, advocating the return of pedestrian living spaces has become the development direction of street design.Healthy urban planning not only requires to enhance physical health by promoting physical activity, but also to enhance the social interaction of public space, which is also an important way to improve the health of urban space. Therefore,as the material carrier of daily life and social communication, how to reshape the street life, enhance the friendly interaction and contact between people, and create a warm street space full of social atmosphere and life atmosphere is an important thinking problem under the trend of street returning to humanism. In this context,in order to optimize the living street environment for the purpose of promoting social interaction, this study focuses on how the built environment of living streets affects social interaction activities. It selects three living streets with high social atmosphere in the main urban area of Shijiazhuang City as the research object, using interdisciplinary analysis, literature research, behavior annotation, nuclear density analysis, etc Space syntax, mathematical statistics and other research methods to explore the relationship between built-up environment factors and social activities. In terms of research content, firstly, based on literature review and theoretical research, this paper constructs the index system of built environment of living streets from the spatial level, including three macro built-up environmental indicators of building density, street integration and road network density, and 32 aspects of 8 aspects, namely, spatial scale, road traffic, interface form, business function, street greening, street facilities, maintenance degree and human environment Secondly, based on the behavior annotation method, the social activity data is obtained, and the subject information(gender, age),quantity, social activity category, distribution period and spatial location information of social activities are visually displayed on Arc GIS platform to explore the spatiotemporal characteristics of social interaction activities in living streets. Finally,SPSS is used to analyze the spatial and temporal characteristics of social interaction activities in living streets Based on the correlation analysis between the elements and the density of social activities, the significant correlation factors were obtained. The influence trend and appropriate range were judged by scatter plot analysis.Combined with principal component analysis and factor regression analysis, the key influencing factors and influence degree of various social activities were identified, and then targeted optimization suggestions were put forward to improve the social level of living streets. The results show that:(1)on the overall level, the social activities of men and women in the life street are basically average distribution, and there are a little more men,and the young and middle-aged occupy an absolute advantage in the frequency of social activities. No matter in gender, age or street samples, the overall proportion of social interaction activities showed the rule of mobile social activities > short-term social activities > continuous social activities > passive social activities.(2)In terms of time characteristics, the overall social activities showed a "two high and one low" rule.Evening(17:00-19:00)and noon(11:00-13:00)were the most active periods, and the peak time of night was significantly higher than noon. There are significant differences in time preference among different subject attributes and social activity types.(3)In terms of spatial characteristics, social activities show the spatial preference rules of high entrance and exit, high facilities, special places forming gathering point, high edge, low center, high intersection and random distribution.(4)The regional built-up environmental indicators did not show statistical correlation with social activity density, but the overall social activity density showed a coupling law with street integration and road network density. Most of the site built-up environmental indicators, led by the transparency of the interface, show significant correlation with social activities. The influence degree of the factors on the overall social activity density ranked as follows:business interface characteristics > tree canopy coverage characteristics > sitting and leisure social places characteristics > public transport facilities characteristics. This study improves the built environment measurement index system of living street environment based on social activities in theory, and expands the empirical support of healthy Street theoretical research;in practice,it provides suggestions for the future planning and design of living streets and street landscape renewal, and also provides a strong theoretical basis and numerical reference for the formulation of relevant street design standards. |
