The satellite power supply is one of the satellite’s core systems.It is responsible for the satellite’s energy supply during the illumination period and the earth shadow period.The failure of the satellite power sub-system often leads to insufficient energy supply or even power failure for the entire satellite,resulting in satellite failure and mission failure.In order to improve the stability of the satellite power system operation,it is necessary to perform fault diagnosis on the satellite power system.The satellite power supply hardware-in-the-loop simulation system based on MPPT developed in this paper can simulate the normal operating mode of the satellite power supply,realize MPPT function and fault simulation.The system is of great significance to the development,application and guarantee of satellite power supply.It can also provide data support for the development of fault diagnosis algorithms.This thesis first analyzes the design requirements and the key technologies such as solar cell characteristic simulation and MPPT technology realization of the satellite power hardware-in-the-loop simulation system,and chooses the MPPT series-parallel architecture as the architecture of the simulation system.The simulation system is divided into solar array hardware-in-the-loop simulation module,power controller simulation module,battery pack,load,fault simulation module and condition monitoring module.The solar cell array hardware-in-the-loop simulator uses a microcomputer to control the voltage-controlled current source,and uses the I-V/I-R curve joint look-up table method to simulate the output characteristics of the solar cell array.The power controller simulator uses the SM72442 power management chip to realize the MPPT function.It uses the Buck-Boost circuit to realize the voltage stabilization of the bus and the constant voltage current limiting charging of the battery pack.The Boost circuit is used to realize the function of simulating the battery pack supplying power to the load during the ground shadow period.Power supply function.The fault simulation module uses software control and relay switching to simulate the failure modes of such as failures or performance degradation of solar cell array,shortcircuits and open-circuit failures of the regulating circuit.The condition monitoring module realizes the monitoring of various parameters by means of precision resistor voltage division and sensor conversion.Finally,the simulation control software written by Lab VIEW realizes the function of using the computer software to set the working mode of the simulation system and obtain the working status of the system.At last,a test environment is set up to test the system’s functions and performance.The satellite power half-physical simulation system can realize the requirements of simulating working mode of satellite power during lighting period and ground shadow period.It can also realize fault simulation and status monitoring functions,keep output voltage stable and cut down ripple voltage.The parameters of the system can satisfy the design index.
