| The hall thruster is an important device of the satellite propulsion system.It is considered to be one of the most suitable thrusters for the electric propulsion system.However,it still faces many problems.First,the efficiency of the low-power Hall thruster is generally very low.The performance of the thruster is severely lost when working in a low-power state.After the thruster system has been working for a period of time,the power output of the solar panel will be insufficient,which will seriously affect the performance of the thruster.By adopting pulse modulation technology to provide pulse power supply for the thruster,when the average power drops,the instantaneous power can still meet the working requirements of the thruster,thereby ensuring the normal operation of the thruster.This article mainly studies the performance of using pulse mode to power the thruster,and studies the working conditions of the Hall thruster in pulse mode,and studies the thrust performance under different conditions by adjusting the duty cycle,frequency and other parameters of the anode power supply.Proposals for measuring transient plasma parameters and transient thrust are proposed.According to these programs,the measurement of transient parameters is completed,and the relationship between transient parameters and operating parameters and pulse circuit parameters is studied.The main research contents are as follows:Two kinds of pulse circuits are designed to supply power to the pulse-type Hall thruster.They are a chopper-type pulse circuit and a rectangular-wave pulse circuit.The waveform diagrams of the discharge current and discharge voltage with time under the two kinds of pulse circuits are collected.The discharge characteristics of the pulse power supply modes are studied.Under the rectangular wave pulse mode,the influence of the circuit parameters of the pulse circuit and the operating parameters of the thruster on the performance of the thruster is studied.Compared with the traditional constant voltage mode for powering the thruster,the pulse mode is more powerful for powering the thruster and with more control methods,this paper also studies the stable operation boundary of the thruster in the pulse mode.According to the discharge characteristics of the pulse-type Hall thruster,a measurement method for transient plasma parameters of the pulse-type Hall thruster is proposed.The influence of working parameters and pulse circuit parameters on the plasma parameters is analyzed,and the plasma parameters are counted.Analyze and study the influence of different thruster parameters and discharge parameters on plasma parameters,and perform statistical analysis on discharge current pulse spikes and shell potential.An experimental method for measuring transient thrust by indirect measurement methods is proposed,a transient thrust measurement model is constructed,and the influence of pulse circuit parameters and operating parameters on transient thrust is analyzed.The thrust measured by the probe diagnosis method and the three-wire torsion pendulum method are analyzed.Make comparisons and analyze the causes of errors.Finally,new type of transient thrust measurement schemes are researched and discussed. |
