Hydro pneumatic spring,as one of the core constituents of hydro pneumatic suspension,has the advantages of nonlinear stiffness characteristics,nonlinear damping characteristics,small size,light weight,etc.,and plays an important role in more and more vehicles,especially heavy-duty vehicles..This paper takes the hydro-pneumatic spring as the research object,and conducts structural design,mathematical modeling,characteristic analysis and parameter optimization of the hydro-pneumatic spring.According to the design requirements,a single-chamber oil-gas hybrid oil-gas spring was designed,the working principle of the single-chamber oil-gas hybrid oil-gas spring was explained,the structure design of the oil-gas spring was carried out,the statics analysis and check of the key parts were carried out,and The sealing performance of the oil-air spring seal is analyzed.A mathematical model of the hydro-pneumatic spring was established,and the nonlinear characteristics of the hydro-pneumatic spring were analyzed in theory and simulation.The influence of the diameter of the orifice,the diameter of the piston rod and the diameter of the cylinder barrel on the damping characteristics of the hydro-pneumatic spring was obtained,as well as the initial gas volume and initial gas pressure.Influence on the stiffness characteristics of the hydro-pneumatic spring;using Fluent software to analyze the flow field characteristics of the single-chamber hydro-pneumatic spring.The theoretical method of filtering white noise is used to construct a random road surface model in the time domain,and a 1/4 vehicle dynamics model is established.Based on the requirements of vehicle driving comfort,the structural parameters of the hydropneumatic spring are optimized using genetic algorithms.The optimization process includes clarifying the objective function that needs to be optimized,selecting appropriate design parameters and the constraints of the given parameters,and obtaining the vibration changes of the vehicle body before and after optimization.The damping characteristics of the hydro-pneumatic spring are studied.First,the internal mechanism of the damping characteristics is explained,and then the pressure and flow characteristics of common forms of orifices are analyzed.In view of the problem that the local resistance of the orifice is often ignored in previous studies,the damping orifice From the perspective of energy consumption,the damping characteristics of different forms of orifices are designed and analyzed,and the form of orifices that consume more energy is obtained.Finally,based on the previous theoretical research,simulation analysis and parameter optimization,the oil-gas spring design software was developed,which can help improve the efficiency of the oil-gas spring design.
