China’s rural area is vast,the rural population density is low,the cost of centralized processing equipment is high,and it needs to set up dedicated personnel management,so the penetration rate is relatively low.However,the drinking water in rural areas usually does not meet the national drinking water hygiene standards,which has a great impact on the drinking water safety of rural residents.In addition to the standard indicators,many micro-pollutants also exceed the standard.In the north,there are often trace inorganic substances,and in the south,there are often trace organic pollutants.These pollutants are often carcinogenic,teratogenic and mutative.Pulse electric flocculation technology,as a small area,no need for special control,high degree of automation technology,it can provide great help to solve such problems.The experiment simulated the slightly polluted drinking water sample containing atracine and fluoride ions.The electroflocculation time was 15 min,the corresponding flow rate was 156.25 m L/min,the forward duty cycleγ+=0.8,the electrode plate combination was Al positive Fe cathode plate,the plate spacing was 1.0 cm,the forward frequency F+=250 Hz,and the forward voltage Up+=24 V.Under the optimal process conditions of reverse duty cycleγ-=0.6,reverse frequency F-=2000 Hz,reverse pulse voltage Up-=16 V,positive and negative working time ratio of 5:1,the removal effects of pollutants are as follows:The removal rate of turbidity,chroma,UV254,atrazine and F ion was 99.4%,99.66%,79.35%,17%and 44%respectively.The pH,conductivity,TDS and Zeta potential were observed during operation.The pH was relatively stable,and the changes in duration met the Hygiene Standard for Drinking Water(GB 5749-2006).The flocs Zeta potential showed that there was no re-stability phenomenon and the conductivity was relatively stable in the process of operation without the addition of external reagents to adjust pH.The electrical conductivity of the electrocoagulation process is stable and the process operation is stable.Under the optimum experiment conditions,taking suihua in heilongjiang province a certain village tuen drinking water,municipal district in jiangxi province,suihua in heilongjiang province potable water three kinds of water samples tested a ranch,its processing results show that under the condition of different water quality,the process has meet the Hygiene Standard for Drinking Water(GB 5749-2006).The energy consumption and material consumption were analyzed by using the optimal treatment process parameters.The power consumption for the treatment of 1 m3was 0.9455 k W·h,0.482 yuan,and the material consumption was 48.88 g for the Al anode plate and 18.96 g for the Fe cathode plate.If Al is 17 yuan per kg and Fe is 4 yuan per kg,then the actual material consumption price is 0.91 yuan per 1 m3treated.The total process operation cost is 1.392 yuan.Comparison of the improvement of ordinary electric flocculation process:Before the improvement,the removal rate of turbidity,chromaticity,UV254,atrazine and F ion is19%,3%,10.3%,7%and 13.94%higher than before the improvement.Meanwhile,APC-EC is only 44.22%of the cost of the traditional electrocoagulation process.Through parameter amplification of small test,the patented socket type pulse electric flocculation equipment is designed and relevant process parameters are provided.
