The development of hydrogen industry is an important engine to optimize the energy structure and promote the upgrading of traditional industries.Developed countries such as Europe,America,Japan and South Korea have included hydrogen and fuel cells as an important part of national energy strategy,and China is accelerating the layout of hydrogen industry,forming a development pattern led by industrial clusters in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei,Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta.The storage and transportation of hydrogen is the bridge between hydrogen production and application.China has mature hydrogen production technologies such as hydrogen from coal or natural gas and industrial byproduction hydrogen.The construction of hydrogen refueling stations is in order,but an economic and efficient storage and transportation mode has not yet been formed,and the high cost of storage and transportation restricts the promotion and application of hydrogen energy.Therefore,the selection of feasible hydrogen storage and transportation modes for comparative economic research will help provide development direction for hydrogen storage and transportation cost reduction and promote the sustainable and healthy development of hydrogen industry.In this paper,three types of hydrogen storage and transportation methods,namely gashydrogen trailer,liquid hydrogen tanker and hydrogen pipeline,are selected as the research objects,and the comparative economic analysis is conducted on 20 MPa,30MPa and 50 MPa gas-hydrogen trailer,liquid hydrogen tanker with 5TPD,30 TPD and 100 TPD liquid hydrogen production scale,and hydrogen pipeline with 100%,75%,50% and 25% capacity utilization.The economic comparison analysis provides countermeasures and suggestions for the selection of economic hydrogen storage and transportation.In this paper,the following work has been carried out and some results have been achieved.(1)Define the scope of calculation of economical hydrogen storage and transportation,make reasonable assumptions on the calculation of storage and transportation costs,and build an economical calculation model.The main cost factors are identified by using sensitivity analysis,comparing the economics of three storage and transportation methods and suggesting the economical choice of storage and transportation methods.It is considered that gas-hydrogen trailers are more suitable for short-distance and small-volume hydrogen transportation,liquid hydrogen tankers are suitable for long-distance and largevolume transportation,while pipeline transportation is suitable for super-large-scale and long-distance transportation.(2)Foshan-Maoming and Foshan-Wuhai were selected for the study and model verification of the economical storage and transportation,which provided suggestions for the economic storage and transportation scheme and the solution of hydrogen source in Foshan.It is concluded that the model of economic hydrogen storage Under the pressure of technology and capital,transportation is feasible and the 5 TPD liquid hydrogen tanker is the most economical but the gas-hydrogen trailer transportation is the best solution for hydrogen storage and transportation in Foshan.(3)Finally,conduct SWOT analysis on hydrogen storage and transportation,and make targeted suggestions.It is considered that the current development of hydrogen energy storage and transportation should,firstly,strengthen the core technology research and promote the transformation and industrialization of results;Secondly,innovate the policy and standard system to ensure the orderly development of liquid hydrogen storage and transportation;Thirdly,improve the hydrogen energy supply and demand system.This paper improves the study on the economics of hydrogen storage and transportation,provides a reference basis for the selection of hydrogen storage and transportation methods,promotes the rational layout and low-cost development of hydrogen storage and transportation,so as to realize the healthy and sustainable development of hydrogen industry.
