Up to 20% of total energy consumption is via operation of buildings in China, while industrial building energy consumption accounts for 53%-55% of the total energy consumption in the construction industry, therefore, energy conservation in industrial buildings is an urgent problem to be solved in China at present, since 70% of the energy loss in buildings is mainly through exterior wall enclosure structures. Therefore,it is necessary to use walls with high thermal resistance in the construction process of buildings. As a new type of lightweight thermal insulation wall, the slotted light steel-framed composite wall has been widely used, due to its high prefabrication degree, energy saving, environmental protection and inorganic insulation of thermal insulation materials. In this paper, thermal and economic performance of the slotted light steel-framed composite wall were studied, and it provided a basis for its popularization and application in industrial buildings represented by substations. The heat transfer coefficients of 10 slotted light steel-framed composite wall and 1 light steel-framed composite wall were detected in the calibrated hot box,and the effects of stud metal thickness, perforated parameters of the stud web and stud spacing on thermal insulation performance of slotted light steel-framed composite wall were studied.Through the program ABAQUS,the finite element analysis of each specimen was carried out,and the accuracy of the finite element model was verified by comparing with the test results.Based on the simulation above,a large number of parameter analysis of the slotted light steel-framed composite wall were carried out.The slotted light steel-framed composite wall is applied to the substation building as the peripheral protection structure, and the economic performance is compared with other commonly walls.Through the analysis of thermal and economic performance of the slotted light steel-framed composite wall, the following conclusions can be drawn:Web-perforated can effectively reduce the thermal bridge effect, thus obtaining good thermal insulation effect, and reducing other thermal insulation measures when the wall is applied in cold area. With the increase of the length of slots and the web height of stud, the heat transfer coefficient of the wall decreases and the heat preservation effect improves. With the increase of the distance between slots in the transverse direction, the heat transfer coefficient of the wall increases and the heat preservation effect becomes worse. The stud spacing affects the insulation performance of the wall by changing the proportion of the stud in a certain wall, with the specific proportion of the stud increasing, the number of thermal bridge is more, the heat loss accelerates, and the thermal insulation effect of the wall becomes worse.Web-perforated affects the wall performance by affecting the proportion of the perforation area,it is suggested that the perforation area accounts for about 50% of the stud web.In practical engineering,it is suggested that the stud metal thickness should be 1 mm,the stud spacing should be 600 mm,and the distance of slots of stud web should be 0.Compared with other common walls, the slotted light steel-framed composite wall has better economic benefits and it can ensure the good insulation performance of buildings,it has broad application prospects in industrial buildings in cold areas of our country.
