The highway in the desert area of southern Xinjiang is the main transportation channel.In the southwest and south edge of the Kuruktag desert,the Bingtuan Provincial Road S214(Cogan-Milan,Komi Line)is the main transportation channel of the 36th regiment of the second Division of the Corps.Route WNW-ESE across the Lake Tetima dry Lake basin.The high degree of soil salinization,dry climate,strong wind,abundant sand sources,wide distribution and rapid movement of flowing sand dunes pose a serious threat to the road transportation,reduce the efficiency of use and investment,and affect the economic development,resource development and industrial structure adjustment of the desert area.On the basis of analyzing the present situation of sand hazard prevention and control at home and abroad,this paper firstly establishes the test area in the highway section with serious wind and sand hazard;On the basis of mechanical sand control system combined with resistance-solid-transport and sand control test,the mechanism and technical measures of highway wind-sand hazard prevention were studied by means of theoretical analysis and sand-fixing test.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Using engineering protection,biological protection,chemical protection and other comprehensive protection,a reasonable sand control system structure model is established,which provides a theoretical basis for the effective allocation of various sand control measures in the test rice line.(2)To make full use of the advantages of environmental protection and low price of plant straw,the structural strengthening method has overcome the disadvantages of low mechanical strength and vulnerability,and formed the structural strengthening plant straw sand barrier,which can still effectively prevent sand in strong wind areas.(3)On the basis of field investigation and field experiments,three species of ecological construction plants with high salt tolerance(Haloxylon ammodendron,Spike and Spurs)were selected by economic evaluation.
