Modern war is electronic warfare and information warfare.To meet various combat requirements like reconnaissance,interference,detection and communication,a combat platform is composed of a lot of discrete electronic equipment,which will limit the maneuverability of the combat platform.Combat platform integrated reconnaissance,interference,detection and communication can realize multifunction on one platform by adjusting configurable parameters of the hardware and software,resulting in small size and high flexibility and then is the trend of combat platform development.Reconfigurable receiver can realize different modes by adjusting configuration parameters without altering the hardware design,which is important part of multifunctional integration.Key technologies of reconfigurable receiver for integrated reconnaissance,interference,detection and communication are studied,focusing on research of system architecture,ultra-wideband low noise amplifier(UWB LNA),phase shifter,mixer,tunable low pass filter(Tunable LPF)and programmable gain amplifier(PGA)with offset calibration.(1)A 0.5-16GHz reconfigurable receiver architecture with tunable bandwidth and gain is proposed for complex requirements of reconnaissance,interference,detection and communication,which is flexible and can reduce the R&D cost and improve equipment utilization.(2)To realize reconfiguration in 0.5-16GHz,0.5-8GHz UWB LNA and8-16GHz UWB LNA is introduced.The two LNAs are based on cascode amplifier with resistance negative feedback and a source follower is introduced in the feedback branch to reduce the tradeoff between impedance matching and gain and then improve design flexibility.(3)To ensure amplitude and phase matching of phase shifter,0.5-8GHz phase shifter adopts devide-by-two circuit and 8-16GHz phase shifter adopts RC polyphase filter(RC PPF).(4)Double balanced Gilbert mixer is used for down conversion and insuring port isolation.(5)For narrow-band and wide-band applications,a tunable LPF based on improved Sallen-Key filter is introduced and a tunable bandwidth range of59MHz-1GHz is achieved.A super source follower is adopted as the unity gain buffer and the buffer is on the feedback path to improve bandwidth and linearity.(6)To improve the tunable gain range,a programmable voltage amplifier is introduced,which is based on common source amplifier with tunable source degeneration resistance.An offset calibration based on paralleling tunable current source is proposed and the output offset voltage is reduced to 4.5m V.Based on TSMC 65nm 1P9M CMOS process,the circuit design,pre simulation,layout drawing and post simulation of the 0.5-16GHz reconfigurable receiver RF front end for integrated reconnaissance,interference,detection and communication is achieved.The chip area is 1480*1092μm~2 and the chip power consumption is 417.9m W.The post simulation results show that the 0.5-8GHz path realizes a tunable gain range of33.1d B-62.2d B with 2.4d B step,tunable bandwidth range of 41MHz-1.03GHz,NF of smaller than 10.8d B as the gain changes and IIP3 of-38.9d Bm at minimum gain.And the8-16GHz path realizes a tunable gain range of 26.2d B-54.9d B with 2.4d B step,tunable bandwidth range of 41MHz-1.08GHz,NF of smaller than 15d B as the gain changes and IIP3 of-24.3d Bm at minimum gain,which meets the requirements of integrated reconnaissance,interference,detection and communication.
