Electronic universal testing machine is widely used in material testing,covering metal,non-metal and various composite materials.It is widely used in all walks of life,and plays a very important role in studying the performance of materials and parts,and improving the quality of products.But compared with the international leading enterprises,our products are lack of system planning,long product design cycle,unable to respond to customers quickly and other problems.This paper attempts to use the theory and method of modular design,based on the core product platform,to redesign the product,improve the degree of modularity of core products,improve enterprise efficiency,reduce product costs,and provide customers with customized products and services faster and better.The main contents of this paper are as follows.Chapter 1,the research status of electronic universal testing machine at home and abroad is investigated,the modular design theory of product is summarized,and the research background,significance and organizationof this paper are explained.Chapter 2,through the investigation and analysis of the market,benchmark products and industry standards,the design requirements are clarified,and the system principle,system architecture and functional structure of each subsystem of the electronic universal testing machine are analyzed.Chapter 3,according to the actual needs and considering the core products,the modular design scheme is proposed,the three-dimensional model is established,and the design ideas of each module are described.Chapter 4,according to the core design index,the ball screw,servo motor,drive system and other key parts are selected and checked,to verify the rationality of the design.Chapter 5,the finite element analysis of the testing machine frame is carried out.Considering the analysis results,the lightweight design optimization of the upper beam and the middle beam is carried out,and the supplementary analysis of the lower beam is carried out to verify the reliability of the design.Chapter 6,the process of the testing machine is verified,and the performance of the designed product is tested by using the engineering prototype.The test results show that it meets performance indicators.Chapter 7 summarizes the work that has been done and looks forward to the future work.
