With the establishment of UHVDC conveying systems and the grid connection of new energy sources,the power grid has become more and more sophisticated.For the sake of guarantee the security and steady working of the power grid,exact pattern and parameters of power system components are sought to realize power system simulation analysis and breakdown.Concurrently,it is also the foundation to guarantee the secure and steady working of the power grid.As a reactive power compensation equipment,the new generation of synchronous condenser plays an important role in UHV DC conveying systems.Thus,obtaining accurate mathematic models and electrical parameters of the synchronous condenser is the foundation of UHV AC/DC hybrid conveying system analysis.This article first introduces the basic equations of the synchronous condenser and several practical mathematical models,and determines the sixth-order mathematical model as the final identification model,and at the same time analyzes the identifiability of the selected model.In addition,the notion of parameter discern is interpreted,and the process of parameter discern,the goal function and the way of resolving difference equations are listed.Afterwards the way of parameter identification is simple presented,and the genetic algorithm is determined as the method of synchronous condenser parameter identification.At the same time,in view of the premature phenomenon that traditional genetic algorithms are prone to,an ameliorating genetic algorithm is projected through the all-round ameliorating of primary population,suitability function selection,crossover and mutation operator rule formulation,and crossover and mutation probability selection.Later a emulation pattern of the synchronous condenser was established,and the actual operation process of the synchronous condenser under different excitation voltage destabilization was imitated,the conventional genetic algorithm and the ameliorating genetic algorithm were applied to discriminating the parameters of the synchronous condenser,and the two identification methods are contrasted from the sides of stabilizing,exactness and rapidity,and proving the Correctness of the way and the advantage of the ameliorating genetic algorithm through the discerning outcome.Finally,based on the actual operating data of the Ximeng converter station’s synchronous condenser,the ameliorating genetic algorithm is used for parameter identification,the synchronous condenser parameter identification is performed through different disturbance data,and the discerning results are researched to confirming the practicability of the improved discerning plan based on the testing data The constancy and precision of the identification outcome;finally,the identification value because of the realistic information and the motor factory design value are used to perform digital simulation analysis under different faults,and the imitating analysis consequence go a step further verify the must of parameter identification,in the meantime,it also provides an idea for establishing the mathematical model and model parameters of accurate synchronous condenser.
