| In the process of comprehensively promoting the comprehensive transportation system and promoting the coordinated development of highway traffic,due to the limitation of terrain conditions and the control of line technical indicators,engineers will inevitably have a series of problems such as a large number of high fill culverts.The problems of stress concentration in culvert body and uneven settlement of filling soil at culvert side and top may cause culvert cracking,leakage or ponding,or even structural damage or collapse.In order to reduce the pressure on the culvert,it is necessary to take the necessary load reduction measures.Under the condition of load reduction,it is particularly important to study the filling displacement and further study and analyze the embankment filling displacement and stress deformation characteristics of the culvert.In this paper,the model test and numerical simulation of filling displacement mode of culvert embankment under load reduction are selected as the research subjects.The purpose of this paper is to understand the earth pressure condition of high fill culvert under the condition of load reduction,and whether the compressive performance of culvert wall side can ensure the safety of culvert.Firstly,several displacement evolution models of culvert filling are introduced.Then,the displacement model of filling and the stress model of culvert under load reduction are analyzed theoretically;With the help of PLAXIS,the displacement and stress characteristics of the culvert under different filling height above the culvert are studied,and the stress variation characteristics of the culvert when the culvert structure size is changed,and the best effect of the EPS plate property on the culvert load reduction are studied,Combined with the particle flow method,the force chain and displacement of the filling particles above the culvert under different filling heights are studied.Finally,the model test data and numerical simulation are combined;This paper introduces the stress of high fill culvert,displacement of embankment fill and many load reduction measures of culvert under load reduction condition,and then analyzes the best load reduction measures under various conditions.In In this paper,through three different research methods: theoretical model test,finite element numerical simulation and particle flow numerical simulation,the evolution mode and difference of filling displacement of load shedding culvert under the conditions of filling height,culvert size and EPS plate properties are obtained.Based on the research results of this paper,the culvert can effectively reduce the vertical earth pressure,at the same time,give full play to the compression capacity of its side wall.Although the horizontal earth pressure has increased to a certain extent,it is within the acceptable range.In the practical application of highway construction engineering,the designers will pay more and more attention to the load shedding culvert,and its design effect will be better and better. |
