Research On The Design Of Rehabilitation Center For Autistic Children Based On Evidence-Based Design

There is a special group of children who shine like stars in the sky,and these "star children" shine with their own unique light.According to data,the prevalence of autism in various countries around the world is rapidly increasing.Autistic rehabilitation institutions play an important role in the rehabilitation process of autistic children,as they are an important place where rehabilitation education is provided for autistic children.With the continuous development of society and based on the research data conducted in recent years,rehabilitation institutions in China have shown an obvious trend of rapid development,but in terms of available research,the study of the rehabilitation environment for autistic children in China is still at an early stage of development,and most rehabilitation centers have some problems.Based on the above-mentioned problems,this paper takes the concepts related to autism as a starting point,analyzes and summarizes the psychological,physical and behavioral characteristics of children with autism and evidence-based design as a theoretical guide,describes the concept,origin and development of evidence-based design,etc,describe the relationship between evidence-based design and rehabilitation centres for children with autism and describe the design points of evidence-based design for children’s rehabilitation centres.The author first researched and analysed the current state of autism rehabilitation centres in China and found that vocational rehabilitation centres for children with autism are still in their infancy,with overcrowded facilities,inadequate resources,inadequate equipment and insufficient attention to the design of the rehabilitation environment.Second,case studies of domestic and foreign autism rehabilitation centers for autistic children were reviewed to analyze the design characteristics of foreign autism rehabilitation centers for autistic children,make references to them,and find the best evidence from them.The purpose of this thesis is to fully explore the characteristics and needs of autistic children through evidence-based design,test and apply previous theories in design,and finally find the best design solution for an autistic children rehabilitation center using the evidence-based design method to create an environment that is more adaptable to the needs of autistic children.
