Design Study Of Progressive Protection And Renewal Of Historical District Of Tiao Mixiang In Ruijin City

There are a large number of historic blocks to be renewed in China,which usually have poor construction quality,bad living conditions,insufficient cultural and tourism value.The traditional mode of protection and renewal by government is gradually aphasia.The spontaneous renewal behavior of residents often leads to the destruction of historical features.The style inheritance of historic district is in danger.This design study aims to explore a new protection and renewal model of such historical blocks.While protecting and inheriting the style and texture of historical blocks,we should meet needs of living,and take into account the improvement of people’s livelihood,cultural heritage and vitality regeneration.This design research takes the historical block of Tiaomixiang in Ruijin as the project carrier,through the combination of planning and design from top to bottom and update guidance and rules from bottom to top,to gradually promote the protection and update of historical blocks.The design text part shows the results of design research.The part of the planning and design fron top to bottom,focuses on the public space structure of historical blocks,establishes the public space system,and designs important space nodes.In the special research part,the background of the project,the general situation of the block and the research methods and results of urban design style and features guidelines are introduced in detail.Urban design style and festures guidelines focus on the guidance and control of residents’ self renewal behavior in the future,and give residents flexible space for self renewal.The guidelines are divided into texture guidelines and facade guidelines.The author summarizes and studies the form elements of block texture and facade,analyzes the types of traditional building facade,carries out design experiments,forms quantitative regulations on texture and facade renewal,provides block building facade renewal model selection,and makes experimental exploration for progressive protection and renewal of historical blocks.The whole thesis contains about 19 000 words,129 pictures and charts.
