The heavy axle trains have been widely put into use,but the traditional vehicle brake often fails during operation,which has brought great impact and potential safety hazards to railway transportation.Based on this situation,a new type of vehicle brake suitable for 27 t axle load freight train is designed in this paper,and the works are carried out as follows.Firstly,based on the engineering technology requirement and the analysis on various vehicle brakes at home and abroad,a new type of vehicle brake is developed,and its three-dimensional structure model is created by the finite element modeling software,which lays the foundation for the later static and dynamic simulation analysis.Secondly,taking into consideration the application requirements of engineering technology,the braking performance of the new vehicle brake is analyzed,and the wheel extrusion force such as the braking force,braking energy height,and the wheel critical weight that the vehicle will not be extruded under different braking levels or side pressure are analyzed and checked;On this basis,the dynamic analysis,static analysis and verification are carried out,and the optimization and improvement direction is pointed out.Thirdly,the dynamic simulation for the new vehicle brake is carried out by the dynamic simulation analysis software.The average positive pressure,braking energy height and maximum positive pressure of each brake level at different braking position and opening distances are checked and analyzed,and the direction for optimization are pointed out.Finally,the structure of the new vehicle brake is optimized based on the above works,and the hydraulic system of the new vehicle brake is designed.At the same time,the mechanical-hydraulic joint simulation experiment of the new vehicle brake is carried out by means of the relevant simulation software,and its key components are verified by the experiment.It is concluded that the new brake can work effectively and reliably according the result of the engineering practice.
