The healthy development of urban retail is an important factor in expanding consumption,promoting high-quality economic development,and optimizing economic growth momentum.With the spread of the new crown epidemic,the widespread application of information network technology,the Internet of Things,and smart technologies,and the explosive development of the "contactless economy" all have accelerated the tremendous changes in the retail space.This article first discusses theoretically the driving forces for the evolution of retail space in the post-epidemic era,and judges the evolution trend of urban retail space,and proposes planning and response strategies.Secondly,take the urban area of Suzhou as an example to conduct an empirical analysis.The overall thesis is divided into three aspects:The first part is theoretical research.On the basis of clarifying the analysis of the related concepts of post-epidemic,new retail,retail space,etc.,a research summary will be conducted from the spatial development research of urban retail industry and the influence mechanism of e-commerce,and from the four aspects of population agglomeration,transportation development,technological extension and consumer demand.A systematic summary of the driving factors for the spatial evolution of the urban retail industry in three aspects,and then separately analyzed the spatial distribution,scale,functional format and design trends in the post-epidemic era,and proposed planning responses from the three aspects of spatial coordination,total control,and functional integration.Strategy.The second part is the empirical part.Focus on the analysis of the development stage of the retail space in the urban area of Suzhou,the summary of characteristics,and the analysis of the dynamic factors in the post-epidemic era,and judge that the retail space presents a corresponding multi-center distribution spatial pattern,polarized space scale benefits,and diversified spatial formats Trends such as performance,new-style design of traditional retail,etc.,propose that optimization should be carried out in four aspects:spatial layout,scale,format and design.The third part is the conclusion.Based on the theoretical basis and empirical research above,the internal logic of the evolution of retail space is derived.Taking Suzhou urban area as an example,it is concluded that it has entered the post-epidemic development stage.Four aspects of utilization,accelerating integration of space formats and humanization of space design propose appropriate optimization directions.
