As an indispensable public green space for residents’ outdoor activities, urban park’s landscape and function have a direct impact on residents’ daily activities. The main purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between tourists’ landscape preferences and environmental factors in urban parks.First of all, this study quantifies the environmental factors of urban parks by using fixed point photography and mobile measurement, and uses drone observation and ground observation to observe the distribution of visitors to quantify their landscape preferences.Secondly,on the basis of descriptive statistics and difference significance test, the differences of tourists’ landscape preference in different landscape Spaces are analyzed. Finally, correlation analysis and linear regression analysis are used to explore the key environmental factors that affect visitors’ landscape preference in urban parks. The specific results are as follows:(1)Visitors have different preferences in season, date, time period, activity type and selection areas. The total number of visitors in Prince Bay Park is the highest in spring and the lowest in summer.Visitors generally visit the park on rest days, and the peak of visitors is mainly concentrated in the afternoon.Park visitors are mainly female visitors, the age group is mainly young, followed by the elderly. The main types of activities for visitors in the park are sitting and taking photos, with different preferences in different seasons.Wangshan Lawn,Pipa Islet,Tianyuan Terrace and other constituencies are the most popular among tourists.(2)People with different gender structure and age structure have differences in landscape preference.Women and older people were less likely to have a rest day and to go to the park at an earlier time.Female visitors and young visitors prefer to take photos, while elderly visitors prefer to sit and rest.On weekdays, visitors tend to take photos and on days off, they tend to sit and rest.In the morning, visitors tend to take photos and walk, and in the afternoon, they tend to sit and rest.Wangshan Lawn is more popular with young people and children, pearl curtain wall is more popular with male visitors, and Xiaoyao Hillside is more popular with female visitors and elderly visitors.(3)The study found that tourists’ landscape preference was comprehensively influenced by various environmental factors, and environmental indicators such as architectural richness, leisure facilities adequacy, soundscape quality, tree richness, floral plant richness, leaf plant richness, floral plant diversity, color diversity and thermal comfort would all have an impact on tourists’ landscape preference. There are different preferences in different seasons, especially in summer and winter, and there are opposite preferences for thermal comfort.(4)From the perspective of regression analysis, this study clarified that environmental indicators such as soundscape quality, flowering plant richness, flowering plant diversity, thermal comfort, leisure facilities adequacy, and green vision rate were related to tourist preference degree, and the correlation ranked from high to low, with different performances in different seasons. It can be seen that understanding the relationship between urban parks and urban residents’ landscape preferences is of great significance for optimizing park patterns, improving human happiness and the overall level of urban sustainable development. In order to enhance the spatial vitality and services of urban parks to meet the needs of urban residents, managers and planners should focus on people’s perception and preference of park landscape characteristics and strive to create urban parks with aesthetic and functional qualities.
