A Research Of Agricultural Landscape System In Mountainous Region At Yunhe

Yunhe County,Lishui is a typical region of the hilly geographic unit of Zhejiang and Fujian.Being influenced by thousands of years of population migration,regional development and historical changes contribute to the unique and typical mountainous agricultural landscape.This paper is written under the background that agricultural landscape can inherit native wisdom,conserve regional culture and maintain sustainable development,and take the mountainous agricultural landscape of Yunhe as the research object.This paper attempted to probe into the driving force of the evolution of the agricultural landscape,and demonstrate the internal relationship and features among each sub-system within the landscape system through the lens of landscape architecture.This paper first summarizes the motivation of the evolution of the mountainous agricultural landscape at Yunhe through a literature review.Based on the overview of environmental condition and taking settlement as the core object,this paper further explores the landscape spatial characters of the core area by graphic analysis,and classifies and analyzes the features through the methods of field research,archive and deduction.Moving forward,this paper analyzes the formation process of pre-urbanization villages in a settlement system perspective through layers and takes a typological analysis of the existing village plan and spatial characters.For the hydraulic system,this paper concludes the arrangement of the water system and irrigation system and explores its influence on agricultural activities.For the farmland system,this paper articulates the agricultural development process of Yunhe and the techniques,farmland types,agricultural products and culture.For the forest system,this paper firstly clarifies the vertical elements of the forest of Yunhe and the forestry producing activities and summarizes the significance of the forest towards human activities and existing settlement;secondly,this paper analyzes the local spirit core of conservation and worship to the forest.According to the division of farmland units,this paper discusses the internal relationship among layout characters and the formation process of village settlements,water system,agricultural system,forest utilization and the landscape system contributed by the elements above based on the analysis of every sub-system of landscape system.Additionally,a value assessment of the mountainous agricultural landscape at Yunhe is taken based on the perspectives of producing,landscape and heritage,and this paper summarizes the representational features,current conditions and existing issues of the mountainous agricultural landscape at Yunhe.Accordingly,this paper aims to offer corresponded strategies toward conserving and developing,which can serve as the reference for national mountainous agricultural development and landscape conservation.
