| In the early stages of urban transformation,in order to concentrate efforts to promote economic development,various countries often overlooked the importance of urban culture and collective memory retention.Industrial relics served as a powerful testimony to collective memory.Its supporting unit compound or industrial living area has been repeatedly destroyed,shelved,abandoned or even demolished in the urban environment.The continuity of the memory of the city is therefore interrupted.In recent years,with the in-depth study of industrial culture and the opportunity of transformation of industrial cities,the protection and utilization of industrial culture has ushered in new development opportunities.This article takes the old industrial area of Ma’anshan City as the research object,considers the particularity of its temporal and spatial changes,adopts collective memory as the research perspective,combines basic theory and sociological survey and interview methods,and complements the two forms of official mainstream and folk memory.Memory elements summarize and sort out the influencing factors of urban collective memory,and explore the spatial components of urban memory through historical investigations of the urban collective memory of workers,employees,inflows,and other residents.Put forward the principles of memory storage,organization,construction and participation,authenticity and overall presentation.The paper finally pointed out that the bottom-up collective memory should be included in the top-down memory framework to achieve complementary and diverse development.Based on the experience and collective identity of urban residents,this article provides new ideas for the creation of urban characteristics.This will supplement and improve the theory and practice of urban memory from a micro perspective,enhance the sense of belonging and identity of contemporary people to the environment,architecture and city,and has positive significance for urban economic development,cultural connotation and urban landscape. |
