Relying on intelligent driving and Internet of Things(IOT)technology,cars are gradually transformed from traditional transportation to intelligent mobile terminals,people have put forward higher requirements for automotive sensors that complete various advanced functions.Automotive millimeter-wave radar is one of the most important sensing subsystems in automotive sensors.With the continuous emergence of situations such as traffic jams,the problem of mutual interference in automotive radars has become increasingly prominent.The research on effective automotive interference detection and mitigation has received great attention from domestic and foreign automotive radar manufactures and standard-setting institutions.It has been widely agreed that automotive radar should have good anti-jamming performance.Preliminary studies such as millimeter-wave radar interference test show that under the existing product forms and technical means,there exists radio interference between most automotive radar products;and the specific manifestations of interference are false alarms,missed alarms,and radar detection distance decrease;many different types of mitigation methods show good theoretical effects in the simulation results.However,there is no relevant research report on the standard method for quantitative analysis of automotive radar interference and mitigation.And the effectiveness of the existing mitigation technology has not yet been tested and verified in practice.Based on the above research background,thesis builds the automotive radar interference test system for frequency band of 76GHz~81 GHz.Based on the requirements of the interference test,the selection of the cascaded radar of the AWR1642EVM equipped with the DCA1000EVM,the debugging of the signal processing link,and the realization of the high-precision algorithm have been completed.According to the actual target detection test results,the built test system meets the specific requirements of the interference test.Then,based on the interference mechanism and interference quantification method of automotive radar,the qualitative and quantitative analysis method of the automotive mitigation is proposed through the indicators of the noise floor increase ratio and the maximum detection distance decrease ratio.Under different interference distance and power,crossing interference and parallel interference were tested respectively,and the noise floor increase ratio was recorded and used as the reference value for the mitigation technology test.Finally,the research and field experimental verification of the automotive radar interference mitigation technology is carried out.The three most widely used mitigation fields at present:the four mitigation methods with the highest usage rate and suitable implementation difficulty in the time domain,frequency domain and coding domain have been studied and tested.Quantitative analysis results show that different mitigation methods have different suppression capabilities for different types of interference.The proposed quantification method can be widely used in the evaluation of mitigation technology,so as to compare the advantages and disadvantages of different mitigation technologies in different interference scenarios in detail,and provide theoretical and technical reference for the standardization of automotive millimeter-wave radar.
