| City is an important fulcrum of regional development,which plays a driving and guiding role in regional development.Since the 11 th Five-Year Plan,the rapid urban development in Inner Mongolia has brought about many problems,resulting in the failure to give full play to the agglomeration benefits of cities.After the new urbanization strategy was put forward,the problem of aggressive urbanization was solved and the urban development of Inner Mongolia entered a new stage of quality improvement.Cities played an increasingly leading role in regional economic development and people’s lives were improving day by day.Convolution development became the inevitable choice for urbanization in Inner Mongolia.Urban vitality is the source of urban connotative development.It is of great significance to measure and study the influencing factors of urban vitality for high quality and sustainable development of Inner Mongolia.In order to ensure the sustainable,stable and high-quality development of Inner Mongolia cities,under the concept of human-centered urbanization,this study takes Inner Mongolia prefecture-level cities as the research object,uses multi-source big data from the dual perspective of day and night,and adopts spatial visualization,spatial statistical analysis and other methods.This paper analyzes the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of Inner Mongolia ’ s urban vitality in 2016,2018 and 2020,excavates the influencing factors of urban vitality,and reveals the internal mechanism of the spatial and temporal differences of Inner Mongolia’s urban vitality,and provides reference for Inner Mongolia ’ s vitality remodeling and policy making in the new urbanization practice.(1)From the perspective of spatial and temporal pattern of urban vitality,Inner Mongolia ’ s average rank of urban vitality scale is relatively stable,and the differences among cities are significant.It shows a spatial pattern with the huhhot-Baotou-Ordos urban agglomeration as the core in the west,the regional central city as the center in the east,the southern vitality bulge,and the northern vitality low-lying.From 2016 to2020,urban vitality showed a trend of continuous growth,with different vitality dimensions and different development trends.In terms of evolution and dynamics,it develops along the ecotone of agriculture and pasture.During the daytime,the center of vitality shifted significantly to the southwest,showing an expansion to contraction process,while at night,the center of vitality shifted significantly to the northeast,showing a continuous growth process.(2)From the perspective of spatio-temporal coupling of urban vitality,the grid of urban vitality intensity shows a development model with low vitality intensity as the basis,medium vitality intensity as the power source,and high vitality intensity as the core.The distribution structure of urban vitality intensity in daytime and night is roughly the same,and the vitality intensity shows an increasing trend during the study period.In terms of spatial distribution,the grid of high and medium intensity of urban vitality diverges along the point axis structure composed of the urban center and railway,and the boundaries of low and other vitality intensities are separated along Jalight Banner-Alxa Left Banner,showing a spatial distribution characteristics of high in the south and low in the north,which is similar to the northern boundary of the farming-pastoral ecotone.The coupling of vitality intensity from 2016 to2020 was good.The coupling results of urban vitality intensity are significantly improved in the southeast of the dividing line,and the effective connection between urban and suburban areas is realized with high vitality intensity.In northwest China,the intensity coupling of urban vitality is mostly distributed along with railway lines.(3)In terms of the characteristics of urban vitality structure,the primacy of Inner Mongolia’s urban vitality from 2016 to 2020 is greater than 1,indicating that the urban structure of the Autonomous region is relatively normal.In terms of Gini coefficient,it remains stable on the whole.They are distributed around 0.6,and are always higher than the warning value of 0.5,indicating significant differences in urban vitality scale within the autonomous region.In terms of scale order,the hierarchical scale structure of Inner Mongolia’s urban vitality during the study period conforms to the distribution of rank scale.Cities of all levels in Inner Mongolia have developed,and the urban structure system is relatively complete.(4)From the perspective of influencing factors of urban vitality,the global Moran’I of Inner Mongolia’s urban vitality is positive,showing a positive autocorrelation.The overall spatial agglomeration degree of the autonomous region is low,and the connection between different regions urgently needs to be strengthened.The bivariate spatial autocorrelation distribution showed an unbalanced pattern of ‘high in the south and low in the north.In terms of the analysis of influencing factors,economic density,industrial structure,cultural level and scientific and technological strength are the main factors affecting Inner Mongolia’s urban vitality.Urban vitality in daytime is greatly affected by industrial structure,and cultural level is negatively correlated with urban vitality in daytime.The performance of night vigor was similar to that of daytime vigor.In the local fitting model,each influencing factor has spatial heterogeneity.To further improve the vitality of cities,attention should be paid to regional coordination,economic development,industrial structure adjustment and talent introduction. |
