Sympathetic world, access to all things, modern transportation is the economic blood transfusion tube. Thus, specializing in the impact of transportation on rural industries. In this paper, the first studies the correlation between traffic and rural industry from two aspects of highway mileage and traffic capital investment in Guizhou.Through canonical correlation analysis,it is concluded that there is a strong correlation between traffic and rural industry.Next used the combination of cluster analysis and the idea of selected typical variables to filter traffic indicators,in order to overcome strong correlation coefficient between variables, presents the method of weighted mean square error coefficient, and then used the primary industry, the secondary industry and the tertiary industry as the explained variables to screen the traffic indicators,Verify the validity of the proposed method. On the basis of index screention,a VAR model is established through road traffic and rural industry to analyze the short-term dynamic impact of road traffic and rural industry. The results show that the largest impact on the primary industry in the short term is the ownership of civilian vehicles, and the average contribution rate of variance decomposition is also the largest. The most significant impact on the secondary industry in the short term is the road cargo transportation volume, the road passenger turnover and the investment in the bus station. The most significant impact on the tertiary industry in the short term is the investment in the bus station. Finally, according to the analysis results of the dynamic impact of traffic on rural industries,it provides certain decision-making basis for relevant departments.
