| The automobile engine converts chemical energy into heat energy and kinetic energy,and the kinetic energy generated provides the power for the automobile,while most of the thermal energy generated is sent out into the air through the automobile cooling system and exhaust system,which leads to the low energy conversion efficiency of the automobile engine.It is of great significance to study how to recycle the waste heat and improve the utilization rate of energy.In this paper,the semiconductor thermoelectric power generation system is analyzed and designed.The thermoelectric power generation device is used to convert the waste heat generated by the oil-fired automobile engine into electric energy.After the DC step-down circuit step-down,it is converted into 5V DC voltage,which is powered by the on-board USB charging interface of the automobile.The basic principle of semiconductor thermoelectric generation is analyzed,and the basic structure of thermoelectric generation module is understood.The car engine was selected as the heat source and the car water cooling system as the cold source for the thermoelectric power generation device.The car water cooling system was simplified and analyzed,the simplified model of the water cooling device was established,and the thermodynamic simulation analysis of the cooling device was carried out with ANSYS software to explore the cooling duct structure with superior cooling performance.Combined with the output characteristics of the thermoelectric generation device,the thermoelectric generation module was established by using MATLAB software.Based on the Buck step-down circuit and combined with the basic principle of the maximum power point tracking control method(MPPT),the step-down and voltage regulator circuit was designed.The results show that the perturbation observation MPPT control method can track the maximum power point well.In order to make the output voltage have more excellent stability and improve the quality of power supply,the energy storage circuit is added to the thermoelectric generation system to solve the imbalance between the thermoelectric generation power and the load power.Matlab software is used for the whole temperature difference power generation system simulation experiment,simulation results show that the design can output constant voltage and constant power of electric energy.The experimental device of thermoelectric generation is built,and the experimental measurement is carried out to analyze the output characteristics of thermoelectric generation module. |
