| Objective:This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of Laminarin on the growth performance as well as intestinal function in the Pearl gentian grouper.Method:Ten thousands and eight hundred fish were divided into three groups(group A is No.1 and No.4 pool,group B is No.2 and No.5 pool,group C is No.3 and No.4 pool).Laminarin group which was concluded No.1 and No.2 and No.3 was fed with the basal diet supplemented with 0.5%Laminarin,while Blank control group which was concluded No.4 and No.5 and No.6 was fed with the basal diet,for 60 days.One hundred Pearl gentian grouper randomly selected from each pool were used for the growth performance measurement(weight gain,weight gain rate,feed effiency and protein efficiency),Intestine samples from twenty-five Pearl gentian grouper randomly selected from each pool were used for the Gastrointestinal digestive enzyme activity(AMS,LPS,Trypsin),Mucosal immune barrier of intestine(LZM,ALKP,IgM,SIgA),Antioxidant indexes of intestine(MDA,Protein carbonyl).Results:(1)Effect of Laminaria on performanceEffect of Laminaria on performance of Pearl gentian grouper:Pearl gentian grouper in group had increased FAW,WGR,daily feed,daily gain(P<0.05)than control group,there was no significant difference in SGR,body length,SR(P>0.05)between the two pools.FCR was significantly higher in group than control group(P<0.01),there were no significant differences in VSI,HIS between the two pools.CF was significantly higher in laminaria group than control group(P<0.05).(2)Gastrointestinal digestive enzyme activityEffect of Laminaria on AMS in gastrointestinal digestion enzyme activity of Pearl gentian grouper:AMS activities in foregut of groupers in laminaria group was significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.01),the midgut was a higher than CK(P<0.05),the hindgut was no significant difference(P>0.05).Effect of Laminaria on LPS in gastrointestinal digestion enzyme activity of Pearl gentian grouper:LPS activities in foregut of groupers was a higher than CK(P<0.05),the midgut was a higher than CK(P<0.05),the hindgut was no significant difference(P>0.05).Effect of Laminaria on Trypsin in gastrointestinal digestion enzyme activity of Pearl gentian grouper:The fore gut was a higher than CK(P<0.05),the midgut was a higher than CK(P<0.05),the hindgut was no significant difference(P>0.05).0.5%Laminarin can improve Trypsin activity in gastrointestinal digestion of Pearl gentian grouper.(3)Mucosal immune barrier of intestineEffect of Laminaria on LZM in gastrointestinal digestion enzyme activity of Pearl gentian grouper:The midgut was a significant higher than CK(P<0.01),the hindgut was a higher than CK(P<0.05),the foregut was no significant difference(P>0.05).Effect of Laminaria on ALKP in gastrointestinal digestion enzyme activity of Pearl gentian grouper:The midgut and the hindgut were higher than CK(P<0.05),the foregut was no significant difference(P>0.05).Effect of Laminaria on IgM in intestine of Pearl gentian grouper:The midgut was a significant higher than CK(P<0.01),the hindgut was higher than CK(P<0.05).Effect of Laminaria on SIgA in intestine of Pearl gentian grouper:SIgA was higher than CK(P<0.05).(4)Antioxidant indexes of intestineEffect of Laminaria on MDA in intestine of Pearl gentian grouper:The foregut was higher than CK(P<0.05).The midgut and hindgut were no significant difference(P>0.05).Effect of Laminaria on Protein carbonylin intestine of Pearl gentian grouper:The foregut was a significant higher than CK(P<0.01),the midgut was a higher than CK(P<0.05),the hindgut was no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:0.5%Laminarin as feed additives of Pearl gentian grouper can improve the growth performance,improve fore gut and midgut gastrointestinal digestion enzyme activity of Pearl gentian grouper,improve Mucosal immune barrier of intestine,improve Antioxidant indexex of intestine. |
