China’s silk industry has a long history and is the world’s largest producer and exporter of silk.According to statistics,in 2016,nearly 8 million farmers in the country were engaged in mulberry cultivation,the annual output is about 800,000 tons,it accounts for more than 75% of the world’s total production.However,China’s sericulture industry has a low level of mechanization,sericulture production technology is lagging behind,leading to China’s sericulture industry is not strong.The fundamental way to solve these problems is to realize the mechanization of the sericulture industry and use modern advanced and scientific technology to guide the upgrading of the sericulture industry.Mechanization of the sericulture industry can effectively improve production efficiency,reduce production costs,and improve economic efficiency.Picking is an important part of the sericulture industry and a key process affecting the quality of silkworm pupa.Plastic collapsible mountage is the best cooking utensils that are being promoted and used all over the country.The harvesting of plastic collapsible mountage cocoons is mainly done by hand.The cocoons need to be taken from plastic collapsible mountage.The artificial picking efficiency is low,the labor intensity is high,and the cost of picking is high,which seriously restricts the development of the sericulture industry.Therefore,in order to realize the mechanized harvesting of cocoons,a roller-type silkworm cocoon harvesting machine was developed.Firstly,the mechanical properties of cocoons and plastic crepe were tested.The universal test machine was used to compress the cocoons.The axial compressive elastic modulus,radial compressive elastic modulus,axial compressive strength and radial compressive strength parameters of cocoons were obtained.The harvesting of plastic collapsible mountage was subjected to a tensile test,and the value of the breaking force of the harvesting of plastic collapsible mountage was obtained.The separation test of cocoons and plastic collapsible mountage was carried out,and the separation force value of cocoons was obtained.The friction coefficient measurement test of silkworm cocoons was carried out.According to the test,the axial compressive elastic modulus and radial compressive elastic modulus of cocoons are 1.326±0.197 MPa and 0.209±0.036 MPa.The axial compressive strength and radial compressive strength are 0.237±0.038 MPa and0.104±0.012 MPa.The breaking force of single crease obtained by applying load at20 mm/min is 35.3±6.3 N,and the breaking force of single hole entanglement is 46.5±4.5 N.When the loading speed of the universal testing machine is 50 mm/min,100 mm/min,150 mm/min,the separation force of silkworm cocoons and crepe is 3.13±0.31 N,3.07±0.36 N,2.92±0.27 N.The coefficient of static friction between the silkworm cocoon and the iron plate is 0.56,and the coefficient of sliding friction is 0.51.The study of mechanical properties test provided data support for the development of the picking machine.Design the overall plan of the folding picking machine.First analyze the connection state between silkworm cocoons and crepe,determine the method of harvesting the cocoon on the roller type,and analyze the force of the cocoon to obtain the parameters of the picking roller.Use Solidworks software to build a three-dimensional model of the picking machine and introduce the various components of the picking machine.Design an automatic picking control system based on the STM32F103C8T6 controller.The ADAMS virtual prototype simulation software was used to simulate the harvesting process of silkworm cocoons,and the effects of picking roller diameter,picking roller speed and picking roll spacing on the cocoon force were simulated.In the process of developing picking machine,two generations of picking machines were processed and manufactured.The second generation of picking machines optimized and improved the problems of the first generation of picking machines.The high-speed camera test was carried out on the cocoon harvesting process to verify the correctness of the cocoon movement state during theoretical analysis.Through the torque test of the picking roller,the influence of the speed of the picking roller on the torque value of the motor is obtained,and the correctness of the ADAMS simulation test is verified.The first-generation and second-generation picking machines were tested for cocoon harvesting.It was found that the picking efficiency of the picking machine was 3.7 times and 9.2 times that of the artificial picking efficiency,and the picking efficiency was significantly improved.The folding picking machine was promoted and used in the sericulture area.
