As the largest carbon reservoir on the planet and the largest active carbon reservoir on the planet,the ocean is of great significance to the global carbon cycle.Therefore,we need to develop carbon sink fisheries and improve ocean carbon sink capabilities.This paper investigates and analyzes the carbon sink capacity of Xiangyun Bay marine ranches in reef-investing areas and non-reef-investing areas to provide a basis for guiding the construction of marine ranches and realizing the improvement of marine carbon sink capabilities.The research content is the carbon sink functions of organisms,water bodies,and sediments in marine ranches Zhongtou reef areas and non-tou reef areas from 2019 to 2020.Among them,biological carbon sinks include fishery resources and their carbon sequestrate-on,and the biomass of oysters attached to artificial reefs and their carbon sequestration;water carbon sequestration measures the concentration of dissolved organic carbon and parti-culate organic carbon in seawater to analyze their temporal and spatial changes,Estimate the amount of carbon sequestered in the water body;the sedimentary carbon sink is mainly to collect the surface sediments in the reef area and non-reef area of the marine pasture,analyze the changes in organic carbon content,and estimate the amount of carbon sequestration.In the artificial reef area of Xiangyun Bay Marine Ranch in Tangshan City,Hebei Province,which covers an area of 57.33hm2,6 reef casting survey stations and 3 survey stations are set up in the non-reef casting area 2.8km away from the reef casting area.Experiment in four quarters.The biological carbon sequestration survey is carried out around two parts:fishery resources and reefs.The carbon sequestration of fishery resources is estimated by the amount of fishery resources and the carbon content of organisms;the carbon sequestration of the reef itself is obtained by estimating the amount of main attached biological resources and the carbon content of the reef.The average fishery resources in the reef-invested areas in the four quarters are 5.42t,and the fixed carbon is 0.68t,which is equivalent to 2.49t of carbon dioxide;the average fishery resources in the non-reef-invested areas are 1.32t,and the fixed carbon is 0.15t,which is equivalent It absorbed 0.55t of carbon dioxide;the amount of fishery resources and the amount of carbon sequestration in the reef cast area were higher than those in the non-reef cast area.The average carbon sequestration of the main attached organisms on the artificial reef is 174.84t,and the biological carbon sequestration of the entire reef area is 175.52t.The results of the survey of carbon sequestration in water bodies showed that the content of dissolved organic carbon(DOC)and particulate organic carbon(POC)showed the highest change pattern in summer,followed by spring and autumn,and the lowest in winter.The average content of dissolved organic carbon in the four seasons is 3.60mg/L~5.25mg/L,and the content of particulate organic carbon is 0.44mg/L~1.21mg/L.The amount of carbon sequestered in the reef area is significantly higher in summer Non-casting reef area.The amount of carbon sequestered in the reef-casting area is 29.32t,which is equivalent to absorbing 107.49t of carbon dioxide;the carbon sequestered in the reef-casting area is 24.59t,which is equivalent to absorbing 90.00 tons of carbon dioxide.The content of dissolved organic carbon and particulate organic carbon in the cast-reef area are higher than those in the non-cast-reef area.The organic carbon(TOC)content in the sediments of the reef-casting area of Tangshan Ocean Ranch is 5.15mg/g on average,and the TOC content in the sediments of the non-reef-casting area is 4.12mg/g on average.The seasonal variation of TOC in the sediments inside and outside the reef is the highest in summer,Spring and Autumn are second,and winter is the lowest.The TOC deposited in the reef-casting area is 47.54t,which is equivalent to 174.00t of carbon dioxide;the TOC deposited in the non-reef-casting area is 38.03t,which is equivalent to 139.42t of carbon dioxide.The TOC content in the reef-casting area is higher than that in the non-reef-casting area.The carbon content of reef-invested areas is 9.51t higher than that of non-invested reefs.Through the study of marine life in marine pastures and the carbon sinks of attached organisms on reefs,changes in dissolved organic carbon and particulate organic carbon concentrations in water bodies,and TOC content in surface sediments,the artificial place-ment of marine pastures was evaluated.The post-fishing reef affects the carbon sequestration in the three aspects of organisms,water bodies,and sediments in the entire sea area.Based on the results obtained,it is recommended to increase the number and scope of reefs as the main development for the Xiangyun Bay Marine Ranch to build a carbon sink marine Ranch Ideas.
