Pinus tabulaeformis Carr,is a common ornamental tree species in traditional Chinese gardens and also the main afforestation tree species in Daqingshan area of Inner Mongolia.Having important ecological,economic and social benefits.Forest is based on species and quality is the priority of species.improved varieties of forest tree play an important role in forestry production and construction.At present,there are some problems such as insufficient supply of improved varieties of forest tree and low utilization rate of improved varieties of forest tree.Therefore,increasing the yield of improved varieties of forest tree is the main task of seed orchard.Wanjiagou seed orchard is still a primary seed orchard with large crown density,poor ventilation and insufficient light,which lead serious affects on fruiting.In order to improve the growing environment and to increase the yield of seed,the seed orchard carried out Pinus tabulaeforrmis Carr transplantation experiments in 2015 and 2017.In this paper,the growth status and flowering and fruiting of pinus tabulaeformis Carr were investigatd and studied in order to discuss the influence of the transplantation on the growth and yield of pinus tabulaeformis Carr,so as to provide reference for the future management.The result are as follows:(1)The transplantation survival rate was 97.3%in 2015,95.2%in 2017,Transplantation is stable and feasible with a high survival rate.December or January is optimal for transplantation.The post-transplantationwith more foster protective procedures need to be taken in order to improve the performance of the tree vigor recovery.(2)Transplantation can improve the growing condition and seed yield of Pinus tabulaeformis Carr.It is an effective management measure to solve the problem of the decline of fruiting quantity in current production and can be used in future operation.Comparison of Original area(Ⅱ area and Ⅰ area):Area Ⅱ were better than those in area I,but there was no difference in the morphology of cones.Ⅱ area was 5.9%higher than I area on new shoot growth,59.7%higher on average daily photosynthetic rate,28.6%higher on average daily transpiration rate,13.5%higher on flowering quantity,38.7%higher on the yield of cone,37.4%higher on Seed yield and 3.7%higher on full seed rate.Comparison of Transplant area(Ⅲ area and Ⅳ area):The new shoot growth rate,photosynthetic rate,transpiration rate,cone yield and seed yield were better than those in area Ⅳ,but there was no difference in flowering,morphology of cones and full seed rate.Ⅲ area was 33.3%higher than Ⅳ area on new shoot growth,75.1%higher on average daily photosynthetic rate,24%higher on average daily transpiration rate,13.4%higher on the yield of cone,12.9%higher on Seed yield.Comparison of Transplant area and Original area(Ⅲ area and Ⅱ area):Ⅲ area was 8.8%higher than Ⅱ area on Seed yield.No significant difference in the remaining indicators.(3)Through the comprehensive analysis of the survey indexes of clones,clones 14 and 63 showed better performance,clones 29 and 6 showed poor performance,and the seed yield of clones with poor performance was not significantly increased after transplantation.Therefore,it is considered that in the future transplantation or management,for the lower yield clones,we should try to avoid transplantation or increase the nutrient space of the surrounding trees by removing inferior thinning.In order to avoid the waste of resources and adjust stand density. |
