Research On The Model Of "Company+Farmer" In Broiler Industry

The report of the 19th National Congress pointed out that accelerating the modernization of rural agriculture and realizing the connection between small farmers and modern agriculture is an important way to achieve rural revitalization.With the continuous improvement of the market economy,the requirements of agricultural modernization are becoming higher.However farmers cannot meet the need of modern agriculture because of lacking production,capital and technology.Therefore,at this stage,it is necessary to realize the connection between farmers and modern agriculture.Establishing an effective organizational form is the key to help farmers entering the market.Under the new policy background and changes in the market economy,the "company+farmer" model has been widely promoted as an important way to realize the connection between rural small farmers and modern agriculture.However the development of this model is also facing increased risks and other issues.In this research it takes LH company as an example to analyze the existing problems of the "company+farmer" model.On this basis,it provides relevant suggestions to improve this model,and further promotes the connection between farmers and modern agriculture.This research takes LH company as an example,and uses case analysis methods to conduct an in-depth research.This study found that the operation of the company through four major mechanisms,namely production input,technical support,risk sharing and income distribution.These mechanisms provide farmers with production factors and technical service support,guide farmers to participate in risk funds and distribute income.By these mechanisms the uniformity of the production equipment and materials has been improved,the pressure on funds has been alleviated,also the breeding risks and market risks have been reduced,finally the benefits have been greatly guaranteed.This study also found that there are some problems between the company and the farmers,such as unreasonable distribution of benefits,the poultry waste disposal of livestock is not standardized and the broiler culture insurance should be improved.These problems have affected the sustainability development of the "company+farmer" model.Finally this research proposes five suggestions:establishing a complete benefit affiliating mechanism,strengthening the standardization of corporate management,improving the training of breeding technology,strengthening the government’s support policies,and improving the environmental supervision mechanism.
