Garlic is not only rich in protein,amino acids and other organic compounds,but also has the function of improving immunity and protecting cardiovascular disease.It is a special economic crop with high food and medicinal value.At the present stage,garlic in different planting areas of our country presents great variety differences,and in the main garlic planting areas,the planting mode is still based on manual planting,with high labor intensity and low planting efficiency.Garlic belongs to medium and large seed,and its shape and size coefficient of variation is large.It is difficult to avoid the phenomenon of missing and taking more seeds in mechanized seed picking.It can not meet the single seed picking in the agronomic requirements of garlic planting,which will have a negative impact on the yield of garlic,and it is difficult to meet the agronomic requirements of single garlic planting,which will directly lead to the reduction of garlic yield in the harvest period.Therefore,the lag of garlic planting machinery seriously restricts the development of garlic industry.(1)In order to solve the problems of low qualified rate of single seed and high missed seeding rate of traditional metering device due to the large size difference of hybrid garlic,a new type of garlic metering device assisted by disturbing seed teeth was developed.Taking hybrid garlic as the research object,this paper first elaborated the working principle of disturbing seed teeth assisted single seed metering device,that is,in the process of seed metering,under the joint action of gravity,seed cleaning brush and seed metering plate,the surplus garlic seeds were removed to ensure the agronomic requirements of single seed planting.(2)According to the planting agronomy of garlic single seed planting,the principle analysis and structural parameters calculation of the core component of the air suction garlic seed metering device disturbing teeth seed metering plate were carried out.In order to better meet the agronomic requirements of garlic planting,the shape parameters of garlic were measured and calculated before the design,and the contour line of the bow surface of garlic seed was extracted to fit the parabolic equation,which was used as the design basis of the disturbing tooth seed metering plate.(3)In order to explore the influence of different arc length disturbing tooth structure on leakage and overcharge in the process of seed filling,taking the intersection of garlic average thickness and average length as the center of circle,the arc length of 90 °,120 °,150 ° and180 ° were selected respectively,and edem software was used to simulate and analyze the working parts of disturbing tooth and the movement process of garlic seed in seed metering tray,so as to analyze the effect of disturbing tooth with different structure parameters on seed picking Leakage charge rate in the process.From the simulation results,it can be seen that under this condition,the 180 ° seed metering plate with disturbing teeth has better auxiliary seed filling performance.Therefore,it is verified that the 180 ° seed metering plate with disturbing teeth has the advantage of auxiliary seed filling,and it is easier to enter the hole to complete the seed filling process under the action of gravity and mutual collision.(4)The air suction garlic seed metering device was manufactured,and the working performance test was carried out on JPS-12 seed metering test-bed.The percentage of single seed number and total number of holes was selected,and the qualified rate and missed seeding rate were recorded.According to the results of previous parameter design and analysis,Box-Behnken design principle was used to select the three factors of seed metering disc speed,operation speed and vacuum degree,and regression analysis was conducted on operation speed,seed metering shaft speed and vacuum degree by using Design-Expert 8.0.6software.The best combination of working parameters was obtained as follows: operation speed of 1.0km/h,seed metering disc speed of 11.66r/min and vacuum degree of 5kpa,The qualified rate predicted by the model is 87.1%,and the missed seeding rate is 8.8%.(5)In order to verify the consistency of the optimization results and the test results,the seeding test bench verified the optimization results.The operation speed was set as 1.0km/h,the rotation speed of the seeding plate was 11.6 r/min,and the vacuum degree was 5kpa.After the metering device worked stably,the statistics were made.The average value of the three repeated tests was taken.The test results showed that the qualified rate was 86.8%,and the miss seeding rate was 9.1%.The results show that the optimization results are basically consistent with the experimental results,and the regression model is reliable.
