The purpose of this experiment is to study the effect of Yili horse supplementation with bamboo leaf extract on the blood biochemical indexes of young foals. In the experiment,24 lactating Yili horses with similar body weight, age and parity and their foals were selected, and they were divided into control group, group I,group II,and group III.The mares of groups I,II,and III were feeding.10 g/d,20 g/d,and 30 g/d bamboo leaf extract were added to the diet. After the mare ingested, the young foal freely took breast milk.On the 0th,15 th,30th,45 th,and 60 th days of the experiment Blood was collected from the young foals, and their blood immune indexes, antioxidant indexes, hormone indexes, and serum protein content were tested. The results are as follows:To study the effects of different levels of bamboo leaf extracts for mares on foals,it was found that the Ig G of group II was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.01),and the Ig G of groups I was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05);The Ig M of group Ⅱ was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.01),and the Ig M of group Ⅲ was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).The TNF-α of group Ⅱ was significantly lower than that of control group and group Ⅰ(P<0.05).The IL-1β of group Ⅱ was significantly lower than that of group Ⅰ(P<0.05).The SOD activity in the foal serum of group Ⅱ was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the content of-OH in the foal serum of group Ⅱ was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The level of T4 in the sera of the foals in group I was extremely significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.01).Serum A/G of foals in groups Ⅱ and Ⅲ was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.01),and in group Ⅰ was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Studying the effect of mare feeding bamboo leaf extracts for different lengths on foals found that Ig G and Ig M were significantly higher than 0 d on the 15 th and 60 th day of feeding(P<0.01).TNF-αand IL-1β were significantly higher than the 0th day at 15,30,45,and 60 days(P<0.01).SOD was significantly higher than 0 d at 15 and 60 d(P<0.01),and at 45 d was significantly higher than 0 d(P<0.05).MDA was extremely significantly higher than the 0th day at 15 and 60 days(P<0.01).-OH was significantly higher than 0 d at 60 d(P<0.01),and at 15 d was significantly higher than 0 d(P<0.05).T4 was extremely significantly higher than 15 d at 0,45,and 60 days(P<0.01).GH was significantly higher than 0 d at 15,30,45 d(P<0.01),and 60 d was significantly higher than 0 d(P<0.05).IGF-1 was extremely significantly higher than 0 d at 15,30,45,and 60 days(P<0.01).TP was significantly higher than 0 d at 15,45,and 60 d(P<0.01),ALB was significantly higher than 0 d at 45 and 60 d(P<0.05),and GLB was significantly higher than 0 d at 15,45 and 60 d(P<0.01),30 d was significantly higher than 0 d(P<0.05).A/G was significantly lower than 0 d at 30 d(P<0.01),and at 45 d was significantly lower than 0 d(P<0.05).The results showed that TNF-α was positively correlated with body weight, body height, body length, chest circumference, chest depth and chest width(P<0.01),IL-1β was positively correlated with chest circumference, chest depth and chest width(P<0.01),and was positively correlated with body weight and body height(P<0.05).GH was positively correlated with chest depth(P<0.01),IGF-1 was positively correlated with chest depth(P<0.01),body height, body length and chest circumference(P<0.05).Under the conditions of this experiment, adding bamboo leaf extract to the diet of Yili horse mares can improve the immune performance and serum thyroxine levels of lactating foals, and have a certain effect on antioxidant performance. The blood hormone levels and growth of foals Performance has a significant positive correlation.
