Fine-wool sheep breeding plays an extremely important role in China’s textile industry,directly affecting the yield and quality of wool in China,Improving the output and quality of wool is an extremely important content in fine-wool sheep breeding nowadays.Therefore,in order to speed up the development of fine-wool sheep and expand the fine-wool sheep industry,it was particularly important for the selection and breeding of fine-wool sheep.Therefore,it was important to develop and optimize the breeding program suitable for Subo merino sheep.In this study,SAS 9.2 software GLM program was used to analyze the non-genetic factors that affect the economic traits and early traits of subo merino sheep,the application of animal model is the best linear unbiased prediction(BLUP method),through the DMU software for subo merino 12 characters,genetic variance component parameter and breeding value estimate,the results were as follows:(1)Birth year,identification year and group had extremely significant effects on all traits(P<0.01),ewe age had a significant influence on all wool production traits and early traits except weaning spinning count(P<0.05),The mating month has an extremely significant effect on the birth weight,average daily gain,and weaning spinning count(P<0.01),but has no significant effect on the weaning weight and weaning staple length(P>0.05).Lambing month had significant effect on birth weight(P<0.05),but had no significant effect on average daily gain,weaning weight,weaning staple length and weaning spinning count(P>0.05).(2)The heritability of yearling spinning count,yearling body weight post-shearing,birth weight,and weaning staple length are 0.68,0.57,0.67,0.35,which were high heritability traits.The heritability of yearling staple length,yearling body weight post-shearing,yearling body size score,yearling breed grade score,yearling greasy fleece weight,weaning spinning count were 0.22,0.16,0.27,0.28,0.28,0.12,which belonged to medium heritability traits.The heritability of average daily gain and weaning weight were0.07 and 0.04,which belonged to low heritability traits.(3)The rams with the top 10 comprehensive breeding values were 9009,1054,4398,2007,30289,23969,13581,4389-001134352,3013,and 09889,respectively.The comprehensive breeding values were14.578,13.479,12.639,12.550,8.056,7.528,7.059,6.625,6.196,6.049.The breeding ram with ear number 9009 was relatively the best.Among the ewes,the top 10 comprehensive breeding values were52927,46235,56477,50945,45441,5147,47462,51954.The comprehensive breeding values were17.082,13.591,13.211,12.114,12.062,11.783,11.248,10.643,10.562,10.501.In conclusion,this study analyzed the influence of non-genetic factors on the economic traits of Subo merino sheep,estimated the genetic parameters and breeding values of economic traits of Subo merino sheep,and provided theoretical basis and reference for the selection of Subo merino sheep.
