| Majia pomelo [C.grandis(L.)Osbeck] originated in Guangfeng county,Jiangxi Province,as a geographical indication protection product in Jiangxi Province, with its strong adaptability, unique flavor, attractive aroma, rich nutritional value, considerable economic value. However, the quality of Majia pomelo is unstable, and individual difference is obvious. Many studies have found that fertilization, mulching, and cross-pollination treatment can have a great impact on fruit quality. Therefore, this study intends to improve the quality of Majia pomelo cultivation technology through fertilization, mulching, and cross-pollination treatment. The main results are as follows:1.Effects of fertilization and mulching on fruit quality: Compared with the control group, the weight of single fruit was significantly increased by 17.6%,23.7%,and 23.9%respectively under fertilization and covering treatment(P1,P2,and P3).The thickness of the peel decreased by 30.9%,25.9%,and 33.9%,respectively.The titratable acid content decreased by 62.3%,65.1%,and 60.3%,respectively.The solid acid ratio was significantly increased. There was no significant difference in fruit appearance quality between P4 and P3,but the flesh color has been deepened, the titratable acid content increased.2.Effects of fertilization and mulching on the content of secondary metabolites in fruits:The contents of citric acid and total organic acid were significantly lower under fertilization and covering treatment than those under control. The total amount of citric acid and organic acid of Retrogradation phase with a reflective coating increased significantly compared with control(P3).In terms of volatile matter content,P2 decreased significantly compared with the control group, while there was no significant difference between the other groups.Comparing the content of naringin, the main bitter substance,it was found that both P2 and P3 could effectively reduce the content of naringin in flesh.Compared with lycopene, the content of P1 reduced significantly.3.Effects of cross-pollination on fruit quality of Majia pomelo: After cross-pollination,single fruit weight and seed number of single fruit increased significantly.T2 significantly deepened pulp color.T3 significantly increased soluble solid content, with an averagevalue of 15.88%.Compared with natural pollination, the titratable acid content decreased significantly and the solid acid ratio increased significantly after cross-pollination.Comparing the fruit pollinated by cocktail grapefruit and HB grapefruit,it was found that the fruit pollinated by cocktail grapefruit not only significantly increased the soluble solid content and increased and the titratable acid content but also decreased the solid acid ratio. In addition,cross-pollination can make the seedless pomelo produce seed traits.4.Effects of cross-pollination on the content of secondary metabolites in fruits of Majia pomelo: The contents of sucrose and total soluble sugar in fruit were significantly increased after pollination by T1 and cocktail grapefruit, and the contents of citric acid and total acid in T1 T2 and T3 decreased significantly, while the contents of citric acid and total organic acid in cocktail grapefruit increased significantly after pollination by Grapefruit. In terms of volatile matter content,T1 significantly increased,T3 significantly decreased, and other treatments showed no significant difference. The contents of Naringin and lycopene in T2 and T4 decreased significantly, and the contents of lycopene in T2 increased significantly. |
