Effects Of Eucommia Ulmoides Formula On Reproductive,Immunity,Antioxidant Performance And Intestinal Health Of Yugan Black Chicken | | Posted on:2021-05-26 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:C Yang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2493306506454974 | Subject:Special economic animal breeding | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | The purpose of this experiment was to study the effect of adding Eucommia ulmoides to the feed on reproductive performance,immunity and antioxidant performance,and intestinal health of Yugan black chicken.In the experiment,120 female Yugan black chickens of 240 days old and weighing 1.3 ± 0.2 kg were randomly divided into 4 groups,with 6 replicates in each group and 5 replicates in each.The control group was fed with basic feed,and the experimental group was added with 0.5%,1%,2% of Eucommia ulmoides in the basic feed for 56 days.The results show:1)Compared with the control group,the egg defective rate of each test group was significantly reduced,the thickness of the eggshell and the color of the egg yolk were significantly increased(P <0.05),and the strength of the eggshell in the 0.5%addition group was significantly increased(P <0.05)The egg production rate of the%-added group increased significantly(P <0.05),and the egg production rate and eggshell strength of the 2%-added group increased significantly(P <0.05).On the28 th day,the serum P content of the 1% and 2% added groups increased significantly(P <0.05);on the 56 th day,the serum P and FSH content of the 2% added groups increased significantly(P <0.05).The relative expression of PCNA m RNA in each test group increased significantly(P <0.05),and the relative expression of Caspase-3m RNA in the 0.5% and 1% addition groups decreased significantly(P <0.05).2)Compared with the control group,there was no significant difference in chicken spleen,liver organ index,serum immunoglobulin and complement content in each test group(P> 0.05).On day 28,the contents of GSH-PX and T-AOC in the serum of the 1% and 2% added groups increased significantly(P <0.05);on day 56,the serum T-AOC in the 0.5% and 1% added groups increased significantly(P <0.05);There was no significant difference in antioxidant indexes in liver tissue(P> 0.05).3)Compared with the control group,the height of intestinal villi,the depth of crypts,and the thickness of intestinal mucosa in each test group increased significantly with the increase of the amount of Chinese herbal medicine(P <0.05),while the number of goblet cells decreased significantly(P < 0.05);the relative expression of tight junction protein Claudin and ZO-1 genes was significantly increased(P <0.05);jejunum digestive enzyme activity had no significant effect(P>0.05);the content of jejunum IL-2 in the 1% addition group was significantly reduced(P <0.05)0.05);the abundance of intestinal flora in the 1% addition group increased significantly(P <0.05),the relative abundance of microorganisms belonging to the genus Ricinaceae increased significantly(P <0.05).It can be seen that adding a certain percentage of Eucommia to the feed can improve the egg production performance,antioxidant performance and intestinal health of Yugan black chicken. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Eucommia ulmoides, Yugan black chicken, egg production performance, immune function, antioxidant capacity, intestinal health | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
