Both the area and sale of fruit growing in China are in the front rank of the world.Hill lands have become the major area for fruit production in China.Because of the complicated and rugged terrain of hills,fruit transportation has been largely dependent on labour instead of transport equipment.With the constant improvement of agricultural machinery,the research on orchard transport machinery of hill lands has gained substantial support and yielded a large amount of findings.This research mainly focuses on the orchard transport machinery for the hilly peach orchard.According to the design requirements,on the basis of domestic and foreign research status,the mountain orchard dual-track transport aircraft has been developed by means of theoretical calculation,simulation analysis and operational performance test.In addition,for its softness,the peach may be damaged by vibration during transportation.Through modal analysis and vibration performance test,the vibration performance of the hilly orchard transport machinery is to be further studied to analyze the relationship between the vibration and the damage of the peach.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)An analysis of mechanical properties for peach machinery.The research is conducted from the perspective of peach’s hardness and biological yield force,so as to provide data reference for the design and vibration performance test of hilly orchard transport machinery.(2)The overall plan of the hilly orchard transport machinery.To design and select the structure of transport machinery according to the design requirements.By calculating the key performance,it proves that the transport machinery meets the requirements of the maximum climbing angle of 45°,and the minimum horizontal turning radius of 8 meters.(3)A finite element analysis of the orchard transport machinery with the software ANSYS.Static analysis and modal analysis are carried out on the main structure of the transport machinery.The result shows that the external excitation frequency is far less than the minimum natural frequency,which is not enough to cause resonance of the transport machinery.(4)The rationality of the design is qualitatively analyzed by the operation performance test of the transport machinery,showing that it meets the requirements of the maximum load capacity of 300 kg uphill and 500 kg downhill,and the running speed of 0.5m/s.Meanwhile,through the brake performance test and vibration performance test of the transport machinery,a quantitative analysis has been conducted on the relationship between the vibration of the transportation process and the force on the peach in the basket.The result shows that the vibration is not enough to damage the peach in the basket.
