| The purpose of this experiment was to study the effect of adding Chinese herbal medicine residue fermented feed on the production performance, reproduction performance, egg quality, antioxidant capacity and serum biochemical indicators of broiler hens in the late egg production period. The test selected 432 110-week-old AA white feather broiler chickens that were close to good health and were randomly divided into 3 groups of 6 replicates each and 24 chickens each. The control group(0% group)was fed basic diet.Experimental group 1(2% group)was fed basic diet + 2% Chinese herbal medicine residue fermented feed.Experimental group 2(3% group)fed basic diet + 3% Chinese herbal medicine residue fermented feed. The trial period is 7 days, and the official period is 56 days. After the test, slaughter was performed, and blood and liver samples were collected for experimental analysis. The results show that:(1)The production performance indicators of 2% and 3% of the experimental group, such as ADFI,egg production rate,feed-to-egg ratio, daily egg weight, and dead pan rate, had no significant effect(P>0.05).The average egg weight at 1-4 weeks increased, but the results were not significant. The average egg weight at 5-8 weeks showed an increasing trend(P=0.05),4.2% in the 2% group and 1.2% in the 3% group.(2)The fertilization rate of the test group was significantly improved(P<0.05),of which the 2% group increased by 5.88%,and the 3% group increased by 4.04%.In terms of hatchability, the hatching rate of the eggs in the test group had an increasing trend(P=0.055).The hatching rate of the eggs in the 2% group increased by 10.13%,and the hatching rate of the fertilized eggs in the 3% group increased by 6.43%.(3)The egg weight of the test group in the sample eggs detected on the 28 th and56th days increased compared with the control group. The 28 th day showed a trend of increasing egg weight with the increase in the amount of fermented material(P=0.079),of which 2% Egg weight in the group increased by 5.95%,and egg weight in the 3%group increased by 6.65%.The eggshell weight of the 28d2% group had an increasing trend(P=0.06),which was an increase of 5.37% compared with the control group. On the 28 th day,Hastelloy units showed an increasing trend with the increase of the amount(P<0.05),among which the Hastelloy units in the 2% group increased by 10.1%,and the Hastelloy units in the 3% group increased by 20.59%.(4)The MDA content in the serum of the test group was significantly reduced(P<0.01),of which 40% were reduced in the 2% group and 38.27% in the 3% group. The content of T-SOD increased significantly(P<0.05),in which 2% group increased by 33.58%,and 3% group increased by 29.16%.In the detection of liver antioxidant indexes, the content of CAT in the experimental group was significantly increased(P<0.05),of which 2% increased by 69.90%,and 3% increased by 84.27%.(5)In this test,ALT,AST,and ALP in the 2% group were all lower than those in the control group(P>0.05),and ALT and AST in the 3% group were all lower than those in the control group(P>0.05).The TBIL content in the 2% group decreased compared with the control group(P>0.05).In the 2% and 3% groups,TP and ALB increased compared with the control group(P>0.05),and A/G decreased by 3.85% compared with the control group(P> 0.05).HDL,TG,and CHO in the experimental group were not significantly different from the control group(P>0.05),but the LDL content in the experimental group had a tendency to decrease(P=0.085).Ig A and Ig G in the experimental group were increased compared with the control group(P>0.05).The GLU content in the test group was lower than that in the control group(P>0.05).The UREA content in the experimental group was increased compared with the control group(P>0.05).To sum up,the addition of Chinese herbal medicine residue fermented feed to the broiler hen diet in the late egg production period can significantly improve its reproductive performance, effectively improve egg quality, increase the body ’s antioxidant capacity, and have a certain role in protecting the liver. It can improve the immunity of the body to a certain extent. |
