Excessive or unreasonable application of chemical fertilizers threatens the health of the agricultural environment.Biochar has strong stability and adsorption, and it can effectively improve soil fertility when applied to the soil.As an important pepper planting area in my country,Guizhou still has problems such as a large amount of fertilization and serious degradation of soil fertility after long-term planting. At the same time, the resource utilization of crop straw has also been the focus of attention in recent years. In this paper, from the perspectives of optimizing fertilization at the source and resource treatment of crop stalks, different parts of pepper stalks were used to prepare biochar, and a pot experiment was carried out to study the effects of reduced chemical fertilizer and biochar on soil physical and chemical properties and nutrient absorption and utilization of pepper. It aims to find out the effect of biochar on increasing pepper production and improving soil quality,The main results are as follows:(1)Combined application of biochar increased soil p H,which increased by 0.03-0.35 units compared with conventional fertilization treatments. The combined application of biochar increased the proportion of large soil aggregates,of which the conventional fertilization combined with 2% twig biochar treatment of soil large aggregates accounted for a relatively high proportion.A 10% reduction in chemical fertilizer and 5% biochar can increase the supply of soil nutrients.Compared with conventional fertilization, the increase in soil organic matter is 23.8-70.5%,and the increase in total and available nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium contents are 3.57-21.4%and 1.40-,respectively.25.6%,2.81-5.62%,0.99-8.05%,4.53-16.8%,0.19-26.9%.(2)The combination of chemical fertilizer and biochar significantly promoted the growth of pepper plants and the increase in yield.Among them, the yield of pepper fruit in the treatment of conventional fertilization and biochar was higher than that of conventional fertilization.Fertilizer reduction 10% combined with 2% twig biochar, chemical fertilizer reduction 10% combined with5% biochar, chemical fertilizer reduction 20% combined with 5% stem base biochar, and chemical fertilizer reduction 20% combined with 5% fine The yield of capsicum fruit treated with branch biochar was also higher than that of conventional fertilization treatment.(3)Combined application of chemical fertilizers and biochar increased the nutrient content of various parts of pepper, the absorption efficiency of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium nutrients, and the utilization efficiency of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium nutrients. The nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium nutrient absorption efficiency of pepper fruit with 10% reduction in chemical fertilizer and 5% biochar with 20% reduction in chemical fertilizer was higher than that of conventional fertilization.Among them, the nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium nutrient content and nutrient absorption and utilization efficiency of each part of pepper with 5% twig biochar under the treatment of chemical fertilizer reduction combined with biochar were higher.(4)The results of canonical correlation analysis between soil factors and nutrient factors in pepper show that available potassium, available phosphorus, and alkali hydrolyzable nitrogen in the soil have a good predictive ability on the nutrient content of pepper fruit nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.
