Research On The Convergence Of Economic Forest Industry From The Spatial Perspective

In recent years,the Central Government’s No.1 document clearly stated that it is necessary to vigorously develop national key forest industries such as characteristic economic forest.Governments at all levels are required to position the economic forest industry as an important alternative industry to promote green and low-carbon development,implement the deployment of economic forest industry from a high degree of ensuring the country’s safe supply of food and oil,and cancel the restriction on the proportion of economic forest in the new round of returning farmland to forest.In areas that meet the development conditions,the forest species that give consideration to both ecological and economic benefits are given priority to use.In order to transform our country’s economic forest industry from fragmented to intensive,and to increase the development potential of economic forest industry,many experts and scholars clearly pointed out in their suggestions for the development of the economic forest industry that the road of economic forest industry integration should be taken.How to implement and carry out industrial integration has become a key link to economic forest industry by governments at all levels.This article is based on the above research background,on the basis of industrial integration,spatial econometrics and other related theories,studies the integration of our country’s economic forest industry,and puts forward corresponding suggestions for promoting the integration of economic forest industry.First of all,according to the classification of the economic forest industry,the current situation of the integration of the economic forest industry is analyzed.And it is found that the total output value of economic forest planting and gathering industry and economic forest processing and manufacturing industry basically maintains an upward trend,but its output value growth rate basically shows a downward trend.Services related to tourism and leisure have been developed rapidly,and other economic forest service management projects have not been perfected.It shows that the overall sustainable development power of economic forest industry is insufficient,the economic benefits of economic forest industry integration have not been fully reflected,and there is still a lot of development space for economic forest industry integration.Secondly,it analyzes the problems existing in the process of economic forest industry integration.Using the Herfindahl index method to measure the level of economic forest industry integration from 2014 to 2018,it is found that more than half of the economic forest industry integration level of each province is in the middle or medium-high integration stage,and no province has reached a high level of industrial integration.However,most of the provinces with large economic forest planting areas are still in the middle or low-level integration stage.The problems in the integration process of our country’s economic forest industry are summarized,including: insufficient and unbalanced development level of economic forest industry integration;irrational layout of economic forest industry integration development structure;insufficient driving capacity of economic forest industry integration;slow speed of transformation of internal and external factors of economic forest industry integration.Thirdly,the necessity and rationality of the integration of economic forest industry are discussed from the perspective of space.Combining related statistical software Geoda and Arc GIS,through global spatial autocorrelation and local spatial autocorrelation analysis,it is found that there is spatial correlation in the integration of economic forest industry,which proves the necessity of research based on the spatial perspective.Specifically,from the results of the global autocorrelation analysis,the integration level of our country’s economic forest industry is positively correlated in the overall space,and there is agglomeration phenomenon.From the results of local correlation,the spatial relevance of provinces shows a gradually strengthening trend,and most provinces in East China show significant H-H agglomeration,and Northwest China mainly shows significant L-L agglomeration.By comparing with classic measurement methods,the advantages of spatial measurement analysis are summarized,and the rationality of research based on spatial perspective is highlighted.Fourthly,analyze the influencing factors restricting the integrated development of the economic forest industry.The indicators of technological innovation(resource sharing)driving force,market demand driving force,competition and cooperation driving force,and policy and facility support are selected.According to the construction process of the spatial measurement model,it is found that the spatial lag model can better reflect the spatial spillover effect of our country’s economic forest industry integration,and also can better identify the factors affecting the level of economic forest industry integration in our country.The specific influencing factors that promote the integration of the economic forest industry are: the proportion of intermediate and above professional and technical personnel;the total output value of the forestry industry;the proportion of the output value of the economic forest processing and manufacturing industry;the proportion of the output value of the forestry tourism and service industry;the forestry legal entity number;the amount of forestry fixed asset investment completed.Finally,conclusions and suggestions.From the significance level and correlation coefficient of the economic forest industry integration,it can be seen that the driving force of market demand of the total output value of forestry industry,the output value of processing and manufacturing industry of economic forest products,the proportion of forestry tourism and service industry is the most obvious.Therefore,the corresponding suggestions are to optimize the industrial market structure and upgrade the development model of industrial integration.The second is the driving force of competition and cooperation among enterprises to which the number of forestry legal entities belongs.The suggestions are to cultivate new business entities,promote the development of economic forest enterprises;improve the interest connection mechanism,and promote the balance of profit distribution in the whole industrial chain.The third is the proportion of intermediate and above professional and technical personnel belongs to the driving force of technological innovation(resource sharing).The suggestions are to strengthen the penetration of technical elements and enhance the ability of industrial science and technology support.The fourth is the policy facilities supporting force of the forestry fixed assets investment.The suggestions are to strengthen the policy supporting ability and increase the total amount of capital investment.
