Application Of Dynamic And Static Combined Individualized Shoulder Brace In Postoperative Rehabilitation Of Rotator Cuff Injury

ObjectiveTo explore the clinical efficacy and advantages of individualized shoulder braces for functional exercises after rotator cuff repair under the guidance of the concept of combining movement and static in traditional Chinese medicine,and provide a basis for clinical applications.MethodsA total of 60 patients with rotator cuff injury in Zhongshan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from April to November 2020 were selected.The patients were divided into experimental group and control group by randomized,single-blind,controlled trial method.Rotator cuff repairs are performed by the same surgeon.(1)Experimental group(n=30): Wearing an individualized shoulder brace combined with dynamics and statics for postoperative functional exercise;(2)Control group(n=30): Wearing a conventional shoulder brace for postoperative functional exercise.VAS score,Constant-Murley score and American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons(ASES)were used to compare the two groups of patients before operation,6 weeks after operation,and 12 weeks after operation.ResultsAt 6 weeks and 12 weeks after surgery,the VAS score,Constant-Murley score,and ASES score of the two groups of patients were significantly improved compared with preoperatively,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in VAS score and Constant-Murley score at 6weeks postoperatively(P>0.05).The ASES score at 6 weeks postoperatively,Constant-Murley score and ASES score at 12 weeks postoperatively in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionThe combination of dynamic and static individualized shoulder brace can reduce the pain of patients after rotator cuff repair,accelerate the recovery of shoulder joint function,and improve the quality of life of patients.This joint brace is safe,effective and comfortable.It is believed that with the deepening of clinical research and the tracking of medium and long-term effects,the combination of dynamic and static and individualized shoulder brace can be widely used in clinical practice.
