In recent years, through the continuous efforts of the people across the country, our country’s economy has developed rapidly, and people’s livelihood issues have become a critical and compelling key issue in my country.Especially with the occurrence of the new crown epidemic in 2020,my country’s medical and health service supply level cannot be ignored.Based on this, the research on the supply of medical and health services is very important.Since the reform and opening up,our country has focused more on the rapid economic growth, inevitably neglecting the supply of medical and health services, etc. The phenomenon of low supply of such public products is serious.Since the supply of medical and health services mainly relies on local governments, domestic and foreign scholars’ research on the supply of non-economic public products such as medical and health services in my country is also inseparable from local government competition. Therefore, this article will start from the actual situation in my country, take local government competition behavior as a breakthrough, and under the background of my country’s fiscal decentralization, geospatial factors will be included in the study, and the spatial panel model will be used to deeply explore the impact of local government competition on medical and health services. The impact of supply.First, define the concepts of local government competition, fiscal decentralization, and medical and health service supply based on existing research, and then summarize the relevant theoretical basis needed in the research process to lay the foundation for the subsequent mechanism analysis;second, analyze fiscal decentralization The behavior of local governments under the system is based on their behavioral research on the mechanism of medical and health service supply;in addition,it also focuses on the analysis of the characteristics of local government competition under my country ’ s "top-down" decentralized system, and the influence on the supply of medical and health services. The problems and causes. Then, based on theoretical analysis, using data on the supply of medical and health services in 31 provinces and municipalities from 2005 to2018,a spatial panel data model was constructed. The empirical results show that between2005 and 2018,there was a phenomenon of spatial interaction between neighboring governments, and there was a trend of agglomeration of the supply of medical and health services by local governments, and local governments were more inclined to competitive interactive coordination strategies. In addition, through the empirical results of the spatial panel data model,it is found that there is a significant negative correlation between local government competition and the supply of medical and health services. Finally, based on the results of the empirical research, the full text is summarized and put forward from four aspects: improving the transfer payment system, optimizing the incentive mechanism of local governments, rationally dividing the authority and expenditure responsibilities of the central and local governments, and establishing a supply decision-making mechanism involving residents.Related policy recommendations.
